Papers, please. Surly thread of deportation cruelty dominance
Not that anyone who still posts in this thread still needs more evidence, but here's a moment-by-moment breakdown of the murder.

Trump’s America
I'd go with 20. By 2006, it was apparent that Bush's needless war in Iraq and the endless war in Afghanistan were bound for failure. Since then (in rough chronological order), Their deregulation of the financial sector led to the Great Recession; They prevented us from getting universal healthcare; They killed immigration reform three times; They blocked any sensible legislation leading to an increase in school shootings and random mass ones; They ballooned the deficit with Trump's tax cuts; They directly caused hundreds of thousands of needless deaths during the pandemic; They attempted a coup to thwart the will of the people in a free and fair election; They continued to needlessly attack and demonize historically marginalized American groups, as they've always done; They continue to demonize immigrants, both legal and illegal alike; They fuck with school curriculum and ban books; They brought the Asshole back on board; They kill any chance to get Global Warming under control; They alienate all our major allies; and They welcome fascism in the streets of America with open arms. I could probably go back earlier than 2006 in condemning anyone who supported the party before then, but I'll just stop there.

Trump’s America
That's what I mean: it got zero traction. Sure, the Surly CR Cabal's response was, indeed, "no shit." But it went absolutely nowhere, never got legs. Maybe it was the timing because everyone was justifiably freaked out by the attempted coup just a couple of weeks earlier, and most of us thought, "finally, good riddance" when he left office. Or maybe, as you said, the base dismissed it out of hand, and the media completely dropped the ball in getting the word out that he told 30,000+ documented lies in just four years. It's all there, packaged and accessible, just like Derka wants, except it's not his life story as a complete shitheel, criminal, pedophile, rapist. I'm pretty sure I could get most of that from just his Wikipedia page, or easy links from it. And, if you want it in print, then it'd likely rival the size of the Encyclopedia Britannica collection we had in the house when I was growing up. I mean, everything is already out there in the open. But maybe Derka's right about it just needing to be in a nice, neat package with a bow on it for the middle 20% "independents" to actually pay attention.

Trump’s America
At the end of his first term, the Washington Post (or maybe the NYTimes) basically did that, documenting 30,000+ lies that Trump made during those four years. It made headlines for maybe a day, and then all memory of it disappeared, and it was rarely mentioned by ANYONE. ever again. You'd think that'd come up as a talking point among the pundits or campaign consultants. Nope. Nada. They even made a searchable database.

Trump’s America
Don't want to let this attack be lost in the shuffle and the Right Wing violence thread doesn't get a lot of traffic. Rep. Maxwell Alejandro Frost Is Assaulted at Sundance Film Festival Mr. Frost, Democrat of Florida, said he was punched by a man who said the lawmaker would be deported. The man was arrested on charges of aggravated burglary and assault. Representative Maxwell Alejandro Frost, Democrat of Florida, was hit in the face by a man who told the lawmaker that he would be deported at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, over the weekend. The attacker “told me that Trump was going to deport me before he punched me in the face,” Mr. Frost said in a social media post on Saturday. “He was heard screaming racist remarks as he drunkenly ran off.” The Park City police said they responded to reports of an assault just after midnight on Saturday at the High West Saloon, a whiskey distillery and bar where a private party was being held. Danielle Snelson, a community outreach lieutenant with the Park City Police Department, identified the assailant as Christian Young in an email Saturday night. Mr. Young “assaulted Florida Congressman Maxwell Frost and a female who was attending the private event,” Ms. Snelson said. Mr. Young had “unlawfully” entered the event after being turned away because he did not have an invitation, according to Ms. Snelson. The police did not offer a possible motive for Mr. Young’s entry or assault. The police arrested Mr. Young and booked him into the Summit County Jail on charges of aggravated burglary and two counts of simple assault. Mr. Frost’s family moved from Cuba to Florida in the early 1960s, part of a wave of hundreds of thousands of Cuban refugees who were flown to the United States, according to his campaign website. Elected in 2022 at the age of 25, Mr. Frost became the first member of Generation Z to win a seat in Congress. He represents District 10, an area in Central Florida that includes much of Orlando. Representative Hakeem Jeffries, Democrat of New York, was one of several politicians who expressed their shock over the attack on social media. “Hate and political violence has no place in our country,” Mr. Jeffries said in a post on X. “I am okay. Thank you for all the well wishes. We are in scary times,” Mr. Frost said in a later post on his personal X account. “Please stay safe and do not let these people silence you. Onwards.” A representative from Sundance Film Festival did not immediately respond to a request for comment. According to Variety, the festival organizers said in a statement that they “strongly condemn last night’s assault and abhor any form of violence, harassment, and hate speech.” _______ The likely attacker's FB profile (yes, his permanent handle is "I ball so hard"): https://www.facebook.com/iBallsoHard.24/
