  1. The also lost Junior Colston and Kris Jenkins Colston and Sainristil were dudes
  2. With the caveat that it's based only on the Fresno State game (they could be holding stuff back, weren't fully engaged, yada yada), Michigan doesn't just have a QB problem Their WRs might be below average Big XII level. Their small fast guy isn't particular explosive for that archetype. Their "X" looks like a Garrett Gray. Their 3rd WR when in 11 is just fine, but they prefer to stay in 12 Their FB/HB isn't as good as I'd expected. We've seen better on an annual basis at KSU Michigan has had arguably the best OL in the country for each of the last three years. This OL is much closer to average P4 Their TE could be playing for an NFL team this Sunday. They're supposed to have a good second TE (#17) but I haven't seen him. Maybe he was held back?
  3. Actually changing up coverages more than a handful of times a game like we saw against CSU should make you feel better about this
  4. Different looks in a creative run game
  5. Kamari Lassiter is +6600 to win defensive rookie of the year. Just saying
  6. Line was sitting at -6.5 across the board, and it's now -7 or -7.5
  7. I think Johnson is like Stingley Jr in that you can get him from time to time, but he's a ballhawk who's a threat for a pick any time you target him
  8. Per Cover 3, Michigan receivers had 7 targets for 19 yards.
  9. Going back and watching the Michigan game closer, and a couple of first half thoughts.. - their DT duo destroys worlds, and when the first team is in, the DL as a whole immediately move the LOS back two yards at the snap. The rest of the defense outside of CB1 (who might be a Stingley Jr clone) is just fine; just run clear-out routes sacrificial routes with whoever he's covering. It seems like a lot of Fresno's offensive success is when one or both of the DTs are subbed out. Similar to Georgia, they have some sick simulated pressures that college offenses can't handle - this isn't the same Michigan OL. They had a lot of issues against Fresno State - they don't have a QB. They don't have WRs. I'm not sure if they even have a good RB, despite Edwards having a big name. They do have TEs. They should really consider basing out of two TE, one FB, and Orgi, and just daring you to load the box to stop the run. I don't think Sherrone has that in him though. Harbaugh might have done it though
  10. Just watched Oddity, it's really good. Adding it to all future horror rec lists

Temple has four turnovers, all giving OU a short field The OU defense looks good, but Temple's QB is a joke

    According to what?

Burks is a stud, Farooq is fine (although he seems to have left the game), and the TE is solid. Brenen and Hester suck. Not sure why OU is letting Arnold get hit this game Their OL looks the worst that I can remember
  14. Not yet That's one of a few that I'm extremely excited for coming up though (Terrifier 3, Oddity, Trap)
  15. KC, Buffalo, and Baltimore are also dealing with a first place schedule
  16. That game will be a cock fight
  17. Correct. Some NFL teams are prioritizing these speeds over 40 times. It's why Houston felt fine drafting 4.70 40 Kamari Lassiter to play outside corner in the 2nd round
  18. The NFL guys love him, although that's more based on traits than how good he's currently in college
  19. This is the first time I've ever gone into a season thinking they have even a small chance of winning the Super Bowl I think the Chiefs are still the clear favorite in the AFC, but Houston is in the next tier
  20. Bill Simmons picks Houston to make the Super Bowl. Houston is officially the popular alternative to KC pick
  21. I'm wondering if they're trying to force a team that's been waiting to pick up Pierce off waivers to trade for him

The line is surprisingly low at Michigan -21.5 I'm not sure if Fresno will score more than 3 points against arguably the best defense in the country... but can Michigan score more than 24? They should be able to run on Fresno rather easily, but that'll shorten the game. Decent chance though that Michigan just runs it on them easily scores a TD on almost every drive if their OL is actually as good as their mods seem to believe it could be
