I don’t know shit, but where I shop I simply asked the guy. He made it sound pretty easy. Money and volume. The more of their products you move, the higher you go on the allocation chart. He also claimed that stores that get a rep for moving products no one else can, earns you extra benifits. It seemed pretty clear what a store has to do to get the unicorns. Sell a lot of booze.
The amount of torque that BD is generating hitting that 48” behemoth of a driver. Is going to provide us something incredible if his knee gives out. Watching his speed drill was madness. No way he lasts 5 years with anything near that swing speed.
I don’t disagree with that. I was simply pointing out that as good as it is I couldn’t live on it alone. It is good shit, that finds a lot of emotions in people. I just have to take it in moderation.
Like em, got all their shit. But, to me there has always been a dark undertone to their arrangements.
Maybe it is because I remember Jimmy’s love for the occult, and the subsequent bad luck that seemed to follow the band. Whatever it is, I pick it up even in their softer songs like over the hills or tangerine. There was always something brewing just below the surface.
And honestly, who do you really think ended up with the MSG cash?
Same situation prompted my question. Had a friend of the nephews that brought two out to the ranch.
When I asked how big was the hassle to get the stamp he showed me what he had to do, which is pretty much the same gymnastics as purchasing a suppressor.
The difference is what you pointed out....the cost. I was told $8500 for a stamped steel MAC11 (which we shot). And a M16-A4.....ready for this....$25k.
So at the end of the day it ain’t whether or not I can legally buy it, it is the fact I simply can’t afford it. Even if I had $25k laying around there are other things needed at Scooters place.
I was just curious if others had taken such a financial leap just to have one at the house.
Correct @southaustin. The place is visually magnificent. But living there ain’t like visiting. We all have a different tolerance for tough environment, Seattle will test that tolerance.
No shit!!!, we were stationed there too, (lived in Times Beach) around 65/66?
I believe that entire area is condemned now. Something about a carcinogen in the soil, you know the soil we played in as kids.
