Yeah, that’s an interesting thread... he’s attempting to give a detailed account of what is transpiring. I can’t tell if he’s dialed in or utterly insane.
Reihan Salam recently stated “high levels of low-skill immigration will make a middle-class melting pot impossible,” which makes a lot of sense. I haven’t read his new book, but his argument seems to be that we’re swelling the ranks of the impoverished and marginalized, making them highly susceptible to a populist revolt from the left.
Racism, yawn.
Consider me shocked they want to start a business in their home country since, you know, they have a credible fear of persecution and all.
Life is a struggle for everyone, they’re not unique in that regard.
Uh oh, the migrants are demanding money.

He probably didn’t have a choice in the matter and on paper it does make sense for him to be there to support the president’s position. But the contempt in the room being palpable, along with the lack of decorum, made it reasonable to bow out. Sheesh, what an absolute shit show.
Yep, he clearly found it awkward and I don’t blame him.
I also noticed Chuck had the old man/retirement home hunch going on, Mother Nature sure is cruel.
I think some of the nervous mannerisms, along with the unusual sweating, will become more subtle as he gets more experience. He doesn’t have the innate charisma of a Clinton (Bill obviously) or Obama, but he would make a formidable opponent in 2020 and I hope the GOP doesn’t take him lightly.
We may be able to survive a president on her period, but for the love of god, no pregnant presidents. Having endured my wife’s wrath during her pregnancies, I’m fairly confident we’d be at war in the first 100 days.
I remember him being adamant that Strong was not getting fired, and then disappearing shortly thereafter. I guess he’s hoping that this recent prognostication fares better, thus restoring his credibility. But CTJ is correct, the posters on 247 take what he says as gospel.
The migrants are growing tired of the legal immigration process.
