2022 US Open - Brookline
What a great tournament so far. Leaderboard is great. LIV taking away the villains may turn out to be the best thing for the sport.

Seems like a good time to buy if you believe in it?

How do you guys store your cold wallet? Like just hide it somewhere in your house? I’d almost rather take my chance of it getting lifted on an exchange than with losing it.

My Brilliant Friend (HBO)
After slogging through COVID and the peak TV era, I am completely burned out on TV. I can’t even fake interest when hearing about the latest great TV show. Been reading a ton and watching movies, baseball, and golf. However - for whatever reason, this show is the one exception. I suppose it’s a combination of world building, the time periods, Italy, and just being really well done. I can’t really describe why I like it, but this is the only TV show I set aside time to watch these days. And it’s even weirder I don’t know anyone outside of my wife and I who watch it, and I almost never see anything about it online - especially for being an HBO show. Bummed there is only 1 more episode left this season. It has been great (on par with seasons 1-2).

Elite private schools and college admissions
Preschool admissions have been pretty wild this year, too.

Tulum, Mexico
Tulum was awesome in 2019 when I went. Most attractive women I have seen in one weekend. Never been to Antarctica, but Isla Holbox is more remote and “authentic”, but harder to get to. I’d go back to Tulum over Holbox and that opinion will probably get me shot on this site.

The movie you just watched
It was good. Had JoJo Rabbit vibes. Not as good, but very good nonetheless.

Correa: at the end of the day is was about maximizing money earned over his career. Astros: at the end of the day it was about maximizing the team value over a long period of time. It’s a business, after all.

Русский корабль - иди нахуй
Probably a dumb question, but do we not have access to Russia releases of what their progress is? Obviously it will be bullshit, but it’s weird/concerning to me we only get Ukraine updates.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power - Amazon Prime
What is the backstory of how the show runners were chosen? Looks like these guys have done Star Trek Beyond and Flash Gordon. Would have expected a little more with this budget.

COVID-19 vaccine discussion
This is me. It would be interesting to see the breakdown in America of unvaxed, vax no booster, and vaxed + booster. Would guess the middle group is the largest.
