I can think of 5 people I know personally, excluding my wife and me, who have COVID and got the vaccine. If they prevent infection it is unquestionably lower than the initial strain.
Does it seem like this isn’t being discussed enough or am I just too focused on my own situation?
Honest question because I don’t have time to read all of the arguments…is the concern that hospitals are going to be overrun because of anti vax people? Seems like a lot of those people have already had it and are more unlikely to get delta than those who are vaccinated who have not had COVID. Or is the anger towards people who specifically have not been vaccinated and not been infected?
Old buildings, yes. New construction still leases even in tough markets like Houston. The workplace needs to be a place people want to go if you want people to work for your company and come into the office.
Yeah, and then turning it into some race commentary about white privilege / systemic racism. I don’t know, it felt like they were trying too hard but maybe I’m out of the loop on this.
Back in the office and I love it. It was driving me mad trying to manage and train people over Zoom/Teams. I also love the people I work with and I have always had flexibility, so my situation is not common.
Hopefully football will not test this fall and every sport will follow they lead. I am sure a lot of people will freak out that a sports league wouldn’t test players on a regular basis, but the reality is this is unnecessary. Stop fucking with our entertainment product.
To be clear, I still think NC State deserves what they got...but the protocol is also still silly.
It’s the same thing as Jon Rahm a few weeks ago. Of course it’s on the team. But why are leagues still doing this stuff? Are we going to do this forever? At some point it’s just unnecessary optics (we are beyond that point, in my opinion).
My global entry expired during COVID and just realized it. Applied for the renewal, I’m conditionally approved, but it seems impossible to schedule an interview. Anyone run into this issue? I think I’m going to try to do a walk in interview on my trip back from Cabo in September but I’d rather get this sorted out before my other summer travel.
I’m stupid, so hang with me...wouldn’t you want to be picked by Nanny so you can compete in the next challenge and potentially win and protect yourself?
Does anyone have FuboTV? I'm reading that they carry the Astros (AT&T Sportsnet)...can anyone confirm? Any issues with the service? This team is the only thing holding me back from cutting the cord.
