Could someone please explain how this weekly reporting every Monday in the WSJ accurately reflect buying and selling by sector? The selling way outweighs the buying on any given Monday regardless of the market conditions previous week. How can this be? I presume it takes deritives into account too.

Just this week I suddenly could not access my Chase account using Edge. iPhone and Mac worked fine but not Windows 11. Called customer service. They were really helpful. Clear your cookies and cache. I told the person I don't like to do that because I have to reset so many other passwords. She then offered her gem. "Get another browser".
Went in for Notary. Nope. Wanted to deposit a Trust Account check less than $50. Nope because the signature had to say Trustee and I wasn't. The whole fucking Trust may have had $3k in facts.
Here is my question. I have T-Mobile unlimited. Customer Service said they limit when we exceed certain guidelines. Another Customer Service Rep said you have unlimited.
On my Mac speed isn't really a problem I get great speed and it is cut in half when the AVG VPN is on but still well above 130.
The problem is my HP Windows 11. I get great speeds without AVG VPN but the VPN cuts the speeds to useless and so far AVG has no reply.
The HP and Mac sit side by side and I eliminated McAfee on HP thinking maybe another protector was slowing things down. No change. Here is a picture of the fast HP (No VPN) and slower speeds with VPN activated.
That was the reason given when the American Airlines A300 crashed in NYC shortly after 9/11. The co-pilot overacted to wake turbulence and caused stabilizer fail after too much rudder. I think the design was changed shortly thereafter but it was totally 100% pilot error, not aircraft.
Our son flew for the old Continental Airlines and the non stop from Houston to Lagos was a hoot with the oilfield workers in boots and hard hats. Nowadays you can't fly non stop from Houston any more to Africa.
If you hold them and I don't buy them in the morning you will be fine. If I buy them, you better sell shortly as my luck has been cursed in determining market sentiment.
As an old old retired oil man I have yet to hear a discussion on how EV's are the absolute answer to saving the planet. If 300 million are charging their cars every night in the garage where is the energy coming from that makes that possible? And don't get me started on the used retired batteries.
The biggest question concerning Russia I have read this week is what happens with the sanctions? Will they become a N Korea? If so the World will be in a very fragile place.
China holds the trump cards. They can still buy Treasuries but I think they will be looking elsewhere. Crypto is most likely although Xi doesn't not appear to be the kind of guy that can't control currencies among other things.
Watching to markets the last several months is like watching Roulette in Vegas and I put my money on red and just watching it spin and spin up and down up and down for no apparent reason other than going around.
To me this seems like a perfect opportunity to sell covered calls except I do not know how to do it! :).
If you want to protect your shares in AAPL, COST, CVX or LYV where do you set the futures price. Above the current price or below a few spots from the current price assuming three months out?
History shows us NCAA football hasn't really changed a lot but the teams at the top have switched. We dominated the SWC with an occasional kick in the ass from piggies, OU and Nebraska totally ruled the Big 8 for decades until KSU finally raised their hand. OSU and Michigan owned the Big 10 and USC/UCLA dominated out west until Stanford and Oregon came along.
Lately the playoffs have brought a new level of discord because the GD SEC is currently on top and will probably stay there.
YouTubeTv is really a challenge for me on my new Samsung Smart TV. The App sucks. Trying to load the channels is always a pain. Tonight I tried to watch Yellowstone Season 4 Episode 8 and all I ketp getting was the Paramont+ scene chats by the characters. I went to my Mobile and no problem loading the episode. I was recording all seasons of Yellowstone. Any ideas why it disappeared on Samsung?
So glad I didn't cancel. I'm usually the one who has a knee jerk reaction in investing and always wrong. I wanted to sit this one out until I knew where to go.
I checked on Hulu and Sling. Glad I waited.
