Tell Me About Texas a&m
I just don't see Jimbo hiring anyone that would show him up for the dumbass he is. What are they going to do to him? I don't pretend to know anything about the contracts these guys get, and neither does aggy, but since they are going to owe Jimbo $85 million, could they reassign him?

ESPN GAME DAY
Interesting. I told MRS. LAGA4 this morning that I never was a Dion fan, but I had to give him credit for working up the ranks in coaching. I think he started out coaching HS for free, then tried to start his on HS and copy IMG, but that didn't work out. But to his credit he kept coaching and seems to be learning the trade. I think he really likes to coach and has a good chance to be successful. I'll bet he's a very good recruiter.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
I'm wondering if they gave him a shot for pain and it made a lot of his hand numb so he didn't have feel in the hand.

Sam is a Texas football legend. You don't have to be good to be a Texas football legend. Think Case McCoy.

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
This a really interesting thread. We don't have a QB controversy at Texas, but this thread is the blueprint for how to get a QB controversy. Last year, and when Card took over this year, the takes were Card is bad because he is to slow processing information. Many said he had plenty of time to throw but just couldn't make the reads, and the O'line wasn't really that bad and they were making progress. Fast forward to this year and a QB that has never started a game is inconsistent and then has a really bad game is defended by folks that say the O'line doesn't give him time he should have been left in because hit would hurt his ego. People pretty much see what they want to see. I see Quin is the best QB we have had in a long time, but should have been taken out at some point last Saturday. Good message board stuff.

Didn't Bijan punish himself on that deal?

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
I'm as big of Quin fan as there is, been watching him since HS. But all of those 30 incompletions weren't because of pressure, Quin was having a bad day, a real bad day. Sark should have pulled him for at least a couple of series, it couldn't have been worse

I am so ashamed. Can't edit it, but since you have so much pull on this website maybe you could change it for me?

Quinn "La Joya" Ewers - The Man The Myth The Mullet, Now Starting for the Miami Dolphins
I've watched Quin since he was a Sophomore in HS and have never seen him throw the ball anywhere close to as poorly as he did Saturday. Don't think there is anyway he threw the game, but he may have been hurt and didn't tell anybody I just don't know. Sark should have pulled him. Had Card been put in at the start of the 4th qtr. we win by 2 scores. Quin's the future of the team and should keep improving this year and be ready for a good run next year.

There’s some truth to that, but Sark should have pulled him. He was horribad today.

I don’t remember a QB performance that bad. Then to make it worse our coach didn’t pull him.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2023: Strippers, Monkeys, and 5-Stars
Man I hope we get him and become the destination spot for the best TE's in the country. He recognizes what JT is doing and that in the right offense with the right play caller the TE can be a deadly weapon. Sounds like we have a decent shot at getting him.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2023: Strippers, Monkeys, and 5-Stars
I think they already recruit with that scenario in mind. The teams that recruit to a 3 year cycle for the 5* types and know how to use the portal will be successful. I think we did a pretty good job of that last year.

Don't know if I "highly doubt" Card transfers, but wouldn't be shocked if he stays.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2023: Strippers, Monkeys, and 5-Stars
That article doesn't make a lot of sense. I think everybody involved is on the same page about playing time. With the trajectory of the team I think a backup Arch will see a lot of playing time next year.
