  1. You are right. Excluding conference champs makes sense. I think the AFC and NFC winners shouldn't be invited to the super bowl because they aren't as good as some of the other teams in their conference.
  2. Ah, they went through espn to do it and made it in 2014. never heard of it. for drama, they could have done all the anti-black stuff that kept them out of a bowl game.
  3. The most common argument I've seen from the past 15-20 years justifying the joke schedule is that the SEC is "so tough", they don't need to schedule teams with a pulse for OOC matchups. You know, it's just a gauntlet every week when you have to line up and play vanderbilt, kentucky, miss st, ole miss, auburn, missouri, tennessee and any of the other teams that are historically quite shitty, or at best average, in a given season.
  4. surprised the whores at disney didn't try to cash in on this story
  5. I'm not sure if that is an attempt at being witty, but you can't be that naive. It's an invitational. A group of people invite teams to play in games not sanctioned by the NCAA.
  6. Yeah it is. It's a group of people inviting who they like.
  7. They are going to be 7-5, tops, next year.
  8. Current system is a beauty pageant
  9. none, which is stated in the post you quoted.
  10. Incarnate Word vs. Tulane Fresno State vs. Troy
  11. I read some stupid article the other day saying the same thing and just laughed. In what way do events from decades ago, have influence on games played right now? What is it, the ghost of boilermaker past come in and scare the shit out of opponents or something?
  12. Sometimes I forget how shitty the ACC is, until I watch a few minutes of it.
  13. I'm with ya, but we can dice statistics in a lot of ways, such as NFL HOFers by school. Texas - 5 HOFers Pedophile State - 6 HOFers Corn - 5 HOFers Ohio St - 10 HOFers Miami - 9 HOFers Michigan - 11 HOFers Pitt - 9 HOFers USC - 13 HOFers Oregon - 6 HOFers The most shocking one. U of San Francisco- 4 HOFers (5 if you count Pete Rozelle the commissioner). How in the fuck does USF have 4 players in the Hall? They must have had a super team in the 50s of former military veterans
  14. Have you seen that mans feet? You can't ski with hooves
  15. I always forget how shitty the big 10 is until I watch a little bit of it
  16. I said if you can't win your conference you shouldn't be invited. with that position, there is no conversation to be had about those two teams other than "enjoy the cheese it bowl"
  17. tcu seems like some frauds to me I'd rather watch tulane get pummeled in the 'playoff's than watch tcu lose again
  18. I don't think having to win your conference is silly at all
  19. if you cant win your conference, you shouldn't be in the 4 team playoff
  20. lol tcu still hasn't won an outright big 12 title
  21. why not spread them out and just run dugan again? seems like its worked before
  22. fumbled and got it back eh? tcu needs to change their mascot to the Leprechauns
  23. he's tcu's strength and conditioning coach. was in the same role for the rapists in waco
  24. baylor's oc helped him more than dugan helped tcu
