  1. Perhaps the patriarchy infused into most religions is also part of the problem.
  2. I know, kinda why it was bordering on trolling. He wasn’t openly advocating against circumcision, seemed like he was just trying to rile people up over an uncomfortable truth to further his anti-religion position. It was the way he argued the point that bothered me, I guess.
  3. Hitchens makes some thought provoking and well deserved criticisms of religion but the guy was also a provocateur bordering on disingenuous troll at times. Especially with the whole “circumcision is ritualistic genital mutilation.” The guy kept pushing the envelope to remain relevant I guess.
  4. The Amish have the right idea. They don’t even vote.
  5. Socrates was the original troll. Claimed to know nothing while exposing the ignorance of others. The problem for Socrates was he trolled the wrong people, some douchebag rich kid snowflakes.
  6. Religion killed Socrates and Jesus. Or was it the state? Who is to say?
  7. I think human history has shown you can’t stop people from praying and there’s a difference between atheists and anti-theists.
  8. This guy turned out to be Francis from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure.
  9. Slime ball
  10. I’m always cautious about new comers after sneaky Pete. Like, is this guy for real or is he just waiting to sell out and become another empty suit. Only time will tell.
  11. This is why we can’t have nice things
  12. Disney’s subtle response….
  13. Has there ever been a candidate as preemptively AstroTurfed as Ron DeSantis? I mean, this guy was coronated as the alternate to Trump years ago because I don’t know why and now everyone is just rolling with it. It’s kinda sad and pathetic.
  14. So my fantasy scenario is DeSantis somehow wins the nomination but Trump refuses to concede, “it was rigged!” and then the GOP implodes. Sadly I think we may have to wait until 2028 because GOP voters can’t help themselves.
  15. First they came for Mr. Potato Head and I did not speak out because I was not a potato. Then they came for Dr. Seuss and I did not speak out because I am not a doctor. Then they came for Bud Light…
  16. So I guess we’re going to have to live with billionaires brazenly buying Supreme Court justices because there is clearly no backstop here. Alito is probably shopping for yachts right now.
  17. I almost respect the sustained ruthlessness of Mitch McConnell over the years…like, imagine if there was an alternate version of him, but for the good.
  18. Possibly the dumbest video you will see today.
