  1. In reading what Warnock’s ex-wife is saying, I’m not sure there’s a good guy in this race. I’d abstain.
  2. Of course, he’s a terrible candidate.
  3. Of course I wouldn’t vote for him. My only point was his health is a major issue for voters. Pretending otherwise is just disingenuous. As long as they found a way to communicate effectively, I have no issues with it. But we’re discussing something far more serious.
  4. This is a discussion where the interviewer is a few feet away. It would be hard enough to just be deaf. But when you throw in his speech and processing issues, it’s fair to wonder. I really don’t think that’s controversial, actually.
  5. I grew up with girl that was deaf and through lip reading and sign language, she never lost track of conversations. This is something very different.
  6. In the link.
  7. No, but getting lost in simple conversations? Absolutely.
  8. He’s having trouble holding conversations. I think it’s fair to be concerned about his health. He needs to find a way out of that debate asap.
  9. How did they not know???? Everyone in the stadium knew
  10. I’ve been told I will get banned, so I have recuse myself from the conversation.
  11. I don’t think they’re gross. I’ve already explained that I’d prefer to control the narrative because there is a ton of misinformation and it’s a very confusing issue. But again, I’m saying the same thing over and over. I don’t think any of us will change our minds. We’re all doing then best we can with our children and I’m sorry if I unduly upset you. I’m probably going to bow out of this conversation because I love the football board and I’m on the verge of being banned for my beliefs. I wish you guys well.
  12. I won’t see it, at all. Comparing the two is silly, but you know that.
  13. I’m definitely not offended by them, that’s not really what this is about. My issue is that it’s a discussion I want to have with my children and I’ll be afforded that opportunity.
  14. We’re discussing chromosomes, not skin color. The two are very, very different.
  15. It’s not a problem, it’s just not practical. Being nice to Bobby is great and needs to be encouraged, but that’s a very small part of the equation. When you get down the brass tacks, Bobby isn’t actually a biological girl.
  16. Man these ads are annoying me. It would be different if a student asked to be called a her versus what happened. The teacher was preaching her ideology when it wasn’t necessary, so they nipped it in the bud. Of course, Bobby would never be allowed to go to the little girls bathroom, so none of it would really make any sense to the kids.
  17. I don’t think anyone has any idea how to properly navigate this issue. It’s one of the reasons we have young men kicking the shit out of young women in sports. The rules are always changing and people act as if it’s somehow settled, but it simply isn’t.
  18. Nice. You got me suspended a couple weeks ago, you’re threatening to ban me, and now you’re name calling knowing I can’t retaliate in kind. So in that vein, good luck and I wish you well.
  19. This is akin to a “do you still beat your wife?” Question. It’s a sensitive issue with a lot of bullshit that is stated as fact, so I’d like to be there to answer their questions.
  20. They do all of those things. What I won’t do is grab Barbie and tell them it’s Santa.
  21. You want to ban me because I don’t want my little children taught about gender fluidity? Ridiculous.
  22. Because gender fluidity requires one to suspend reality and that’s confusing for little children.
  23. It’s a conversation that I’d prefer to have at home, it’s really not more difficult than that. It happened to a very close friend, so my wife and I got the details. It was a very concerning to all involved, but she got her hand slapped and stopped the nonsense. That shit won’t fly with children.
  24. I only consider it a big deal when you’re having these conversations with a 5 year old. Otherwise, you do you.
  25. My district had a teacher introduce gender/pronouns to 5 year olds. The parents managed to shut that down very quickly, but you’d be surprised what some teachers will tell little children.
