Seems to be a double standard, Wulaw. And it sucks when people make things personal. I've been that guy in the past and hope I've learned from my mistakes.
Every time I see a JBJ post, I read it. He's one of the most reasonable, logical, and respectful posters on this board. JBJ posted a lot of informative information in the DT Covid thread without bringing politics into the equation. And no, I'm not being sarcastic or taking sides.
Up until a few weeks ago, I and others, wore them out of consideration. Because we hadn't been vaxxed - cities are different. And I comply with business mandates, out of consideration. I'm no Karen. It's not about getting hassled in my experience, but some may feel that way.
This part: "The only reasons the vaxxed people of NYC have for wearing masks is a) they’re retarded or b) they don’t want to get hassled."
Ok, good luck with that reasoning.
Yes, the quote I bolded is a blanket statement. Now, you've added qualifiers and it's more rationale.
You guys with your blanket statements have me thinking: Texas : Florida :: Chicago : NYC
Absolutely not true for every city. Businesses in some places still require masks. Is that so hard to understand? And stick with me here - the business owners, for the most part, do not want to enforce the mask mandate.
I'm done with this conversation around blanket statements about an entire city being brainwashed or retarded. Good troll job, though, guys.
Compliance is relative to location. And should be. IMO. I wouldn't expect a metropolis to have the same compliance as a small town city. Are the people of NYC brainwashed too?
I wouldn't say the people of Chicago are brainwashed. A few things:
If your wife has only been there for a few weeks, she's looking through a completely different lens.
It's more about compliance as you mentioned.
You mentioned earlier that the non-vaxxed people should be shunned or whatever, and that's the mindset in Chicago since the beginning of the pandemic (except with masks instead of vax).
It's a lot more inconvenient to get vaccinated if you're living in downtown. Or, it was up until recently.
I wasn't insulating that. Curious if he's been in an S&C program. There's a big difference between that an individually working out. Maybe Sark and Saban had an arrangement - just throwing shit on a wall. That said, it shouldn't make a big difference if he's enrolling in Summer.
I'm not sure this offense thrives off big body types, unless they have speed. Juan Davis may be who you're looking for. I don't expect him to become a TE overnight, he's already getting reps out wide, and he looks eerily similar to LJ Humphrey. Also, Omeire might fit the mold you're looking for.
A lot of people forget Kerstetter started at RT above Cosmi as a true freshman. He was thrown into action early and it may have cost his development. Can only imagine how good of a tackle he would be if he had the chance to redshirt his FR year. Another thing - last year, a player and coach said Kerstetter was as athletic as Cosmi. If he gets back to 100%, he's going to be a valuable asset.
