2020 Drunk Thread
Circa 2000, Austin,. I was involved with a beautiful bisexual woman. She was an alcoholic and loved coke. Anyway, she would dip bread in milk and chase it with vodka. The buttermilk gin thing made me think of her. Drunk....

Hey Oil Barons.......
Does the estate own the surface rights? Either way not really a reason to say no. No, just the mineral rights. Thank you for the response, looks like I’ll let them do the survey.

Hey Oil Barons.......
This kind of random, but I thought I’d ask in here before possibly reaching out to an O&G attorney. I oversee the estate of a buddy on mine who passed away a few years ago. The estate includes mineral rights in west Texas that Kinder Morgan operates. Yesterday I received a letter asking me to give them permission to conduct a Seismic Survey. Is there any reason NOT to allow them to conduct this survey?

I need a new refrigerator
Anyone bought a refrigerator lately and have a recommendation on where to get one? Seems COVID or something has everything out of stock at the usual places like Lowes and Home Depot. Some of the ones I’m looking at have estimated delivery dates of 12/28.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is dead
https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/supreme-court/ruth-bader-ginsburg-cooler-heads-will-prevail-merrick-garland-vote-n644711 Ginsburg told a group of students at Georgetown University Law Center that lawmakers should appreciate that a president can appoint justices anytime during his term. "I do think cooler heads will prevail, I hope sooner rather than later," Ginsburg said, according to the Associated Press. "The president is elected for four years, not three years, so the power he has in year three continues into year four. And maybe our members of the Senate will wake up and appreciate that that's how it should be." I was curious as to what her thoughts were on then Merrick Garland being nominated in an election year and came across this article. It seems she would have, at least in theory, supported Trump nominating and the senate voting on a replacement.

- Thread of local businesses that don't survive the coronavirus
I noticed their competitor down Burnet, Gas Pipe, closed. It’s been replaced by some kind of vape shop that is open 24/7. Now, why would an establishment like that need to be open 24/7? Am I missing something? - Thread of local businesses that don't survive the coronavirus
