  1. I just wanted to say FUCK ATT&T and their shitty internet. Not only is it slow as shit, I keep going over their 1024 GB data cap. They hit me up an additional $20 in the last few days for going over. I’m switching to Specturm this morning.
  2. Don’t forget the yoga studio shooting last Friday. So really just 6 days
  3. Good. I hope he gets plenty of golden showers in prison.
  4. While out with the family this past weekend, I saw at least 3 boys between the ages of 2-4 wearing t-shirts supporting feminism. Shirts with slogans like ā€œI am a feministā€ and ā€œI support feminismā€. Using your kid (who has no idea what these concepts are) to make a political statement annoys the shit out of me.
  5. Yes, this is what I did AFTER I pulled them from their zip lock bags.
  6. I was grilling steaks and asked the wife to make a few baked potatoes. I go inside 5 minutes later and see 3 potatoes rotating around the microwave in their own individual zip lock bags. I lost my shit both chiding and laughing at the same time. Is this some method I’ve never heard of?
  7. It should be policy that anyone with more than a couple of bumper stickers gets hauled in for questioning.
  8. 6 weeks of physical therapy for neck and back issues.
  9. I submitted $5000 in medical bills and $1500 in lost wages. They offered $7000. I countered with $17,000 and she said she couldn’t do that. I told them I’d weigh my options and get back to them. Essentially they are only offering $500 in ā€œpain and sufferingā€. Seems extremely low to me. Any thoughts on how far they’d be willing to go up?
  10. She needs to take those stupid glasses off once in awhile
  11. This is why you go to the poor’s HEB. They either haven’t seen the news, can’t afford bottled water or grew up somewhere with even shittier water.
  12. Use bottled water. Just like a fancy resort in 3rd world country.
  13. http://austintexas.gov/news/austin-water-issues-city-wide-boil-water-notice Austin)— Austin Water has issued a city-wide boil water notice for all customers of Austin Water. The notice is being issued as the utility works to stabilize the water treatment system. Historic flood waters flowing into our water supply lakes contain very high levels of silt that makes it challenging for the water plants to produce the volume of water needed to supply customers at this time. The high level of debris, silt and mud requires extended filtration that slows the process of getting treated water in to the system. To provide necessary water pressure for fire protection, plants must distribute water at treatment levels not typical of the utility’s high standards for consumption. To ensure that water is safe, customers are asked to boil water used for drinking, cooking or ice until further notice. It’s important to note that there have been no positive tests for bacterial infiltration of the system at this time. ā€œAnyone who’s seen the water running through Ladybird Lake can see how muddy it is. The unprecedented rain and runoff through our entire lake system has simply overwhelmed our treatment capacity,ā€ said Austin Mayor Steve Adler. ā€œThe good thing is that we can continue with most of our daily routines – like showering, hand washing and laundry – but we all need to do our part to conserve where we can, and boil the tap water we consume. We’re working with our partners in the school systems, health care, food service and neighboring cities to make sure we’re all working together.ā€ What can customers do? Reduce water use as much as possible to ensure adequate supply is available for basic needs, fire protection, public health and safety. Boil water intended for consumption. To ensure destruction of all harmful bacteria and other microbes, water for drinking, cooking and for making ice should be boiled and cooled prior to consumption. The water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil for three minutes. In lieu of boiling water, you may use bottled water. Businesses should not use drinking fountains or soda fountains that rely on tap water. The boil water notice will be lifted once Austin Water can stabilize the treatment systems. Austin Water will notify residents when the water is safe for consumption and it is no longer necessary to boil the water. City of Austin and Austin Water are working in coordination with public health and safety partners in the region to keep the public informed. 14. I was diagnosed with psoriasis in my 30’s and they told me I’d most likely get psoriatic arthritis as I get older. It’s been 10+ years and I’m beginning to get the occasional numbness in my fingers. I’m just waiting for it to get worse because I’m not sure anything can be done. Sucks.
