  16. came here to say the same thing. we will have precip Friday and Saturday but its Sunday that will be cold. Monday morning is the highest load draw for ERCOT and will be a good test of the grid that morning. For central Texas this is better than 24 hours ago.
  17. Started prepping for the upcoming cold weather weekend. Made a batch of tomato basil soup to keep in fridge as a backup meal along with a loaf of Easy Tiger sourdough bread. Need to plan another meal prep tomorrow along with making a blackberry cobbler. HEB has lots of fresh blackberries in stock.

  19. weather models up until this past Saturday had this cold contained up north with the heat ridge staying in place over the south (including TX). the heat ridge has failed us, and all the cold has coming screaming south.
