Unfortunately I don't live anywhere close to Austin so the nervous energy never hits me. Just really excited for the season to start. I just hope I can make a couple of games in person this year. The Big 12 really helped with that as it was a lot closer to some of those schools.
I doubt they are doing that with Volantis. As has been talked about a lot on here, we are in a much better spot in the bullpen this year than last. Last year we had to go all out to win 2 games each series even if that meant sacrificing the 3rd. We shouldn't need to do that again.
Well, they are morons. This is a great sign for me regarding Ruger and where he is at. We already know what Harrison can do on Saturdays. Now with Volantis in the Sunday role we will have a clear advantage every single week on Sunday.
I thought Volantis would go Friday with Ruger or Flores on Sunday. Ruger pitching well enough to have earned that Friday spot is a great sign. What a luxury it is to have an arm as good as Volantis to pitch on Sunday, has to be the best Sunday starter in the country.
Yeah I'm hoping he can make the roster. Injuries have derailed him as of late. Excited to hopefully get to see him more this year in what is likely his last season.
I think it's been pretty bad so far. It's slow and boring. The shitting and long dong scenes served zero purpose other than to shock the audience. I will continue to watch because its GOT content, though.
Fuck this idea. Y'all need to fight to the death over this with it being streamed live on Surly. The more gruesome the better. Proceeds will benefit the Texas One Fund.
Seaton did get the CU athletic department to produce a video for him that was supposed to announce his return, only to use that video to announce that he was entering the transfer portal. That seems pretty dramatic.
Well that is the starting pitcher upgrade I have been asking for. That only leaves one more power bat at DH from my offseason wish list from earlier in this thread.
That was always my point with Bregman. It's not the Bregman of 5 years ago. While still a good player, he is most assuredly declining. He wasn't worth $40million a year last year. He isn't worth a 4-year contract now, much less 6 years.
I always wanted 2 power bats this offseason but those options are kind of off the table barring another trade. So I would be happy with Bo Bichette and one of the top starting pitchers left. Plus a bullpen arm.
I’ve said on this thread that I’m not a huge Brahman fan and didn’t necessarily want him back. I thought with Mayer ready that money was better spent elsewhere. Problem is that that money has not been spent anywhere.
