There's literally no evidence to support this. There's also no evidence they were cheating in 2019 when they were actually better offensively than in 2017. If you want to believe the Astros were cheating last year then that's fine as I can just as reasonably believe that every team cheated from 2017-2019 and thus the Astros did absolutely nothing wrong and thus are the real victims here.
Framber pitching beautifully after overcoming those early jitters. Knowing our godawful offense we will need to him to be nails finishing this game out.
Giles has been better since the trade than Osuna. I don't think it was the primary reason why many owners and their agent Manfred forced Luhnow out, but it was another example of Luhnow's blindspot for how the league operates. I mean, Luhnow wanted to draft a convicted child rapist for God's sake. The man had no scruples and failed to understand hat managing an MLB org is not like consulting at McKinsey - what you do here is in the public spotlight and you can't simply hide behind NDAs. He was a brilliant GM but his own flaws as a human being ultimately brought him down.
Some of this true, although a little hyperbolic, but also why I don’t understand why Herman took the risk of bringing in someone not accustomed to the Big 12. What’s so hard about nabbing ISU’s or Baylor’s DCs? Were they unobtainable? Get someone well versed in a system that is proven to work in this league.
If this is the best Herman can do with a senior Ehlinger, then what is the point? Only hope is that they scrape this out and this game proves to be an aberration.
