How about we just throw the ball downfield against this shitty defense.

Lack of alignment from the ST in this game.

They can’t add Lendale White to this broadcast team?

I want to hear more about that tech linemen who came back to make the tackle off the pick. Play of the game lmao.

Game Thread: Horns v. Raiders
I don’t think I’ve ever seen a linemen tap a DL to get an offsides call.

Tech has 8 rushing yards and that stat is meaningless.

Still running the ball on first down against stacked boxes. Brain dead.

Let’s hope hiring our DC out of the Big 10 wasn’t as bad of a decision as Tceh made it look on that drive. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't know why they keep running into crowded boxes on early downs.

It is hard to believe this is largely the same offense as last season.

I think Lewis would still be ROY. Keep in mind though that Tucker is two years younger than Lewis. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The offense and bullpen have been frustrating, and JV's situation sucks, but on the bright side the Astros have in the past year identified some players that can help keep the window open through 2024 in Valdez, Javier, Urquidy, Paredes, Scrubb, and Taylor. With these guys in the fold the Astros will have more flexibility in addressing the OF and potentially adding a top-line SP. Astros should only have around $150M committed for next season and maybe less than that if insurance is able to eat some of Verlander's salary. That's quite a bit of flexibility for an owner who has shown willingness to get into the luxury tax to support a competitive team.

Imagine where the Astros would be if Framber didn’t magically turn into a 4+ win pitcher over a full season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That might be the hardest Correa has hit the baseball since early August. I don’t know what to make of the offensive struggles. Outside of Altuve, the problem has mainly been a lack of exit velocity, not a lack of plate discipline. Even Bregman looks like a slap hitter now. Maybe it’s just a product of the shortened season. So Click added Dubin to the 40 man postseason pool but has no interest in taking him for a test drive during the regular season? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well, no, it’s preferable not to walk anyone but a 2.7 BB/9 for the night is fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

LMJ played very well. Offense continues to struggle against mediocre pitching. At least Altuve is showing some signs of life I guess. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
