That's what I'm saying. That food cart scene was shady af. I imagined people dying over the turf so another cart could get a good location. That RLM area was probably the 2nd best spot next to the Coop one. Someone definitely got murdered for the coop location.
I was early mid 90s. I think I remember that station wagon. I believe there was either 2 or 3 different families that owned those carts. 1 sucked and I avoided it the other 2 were good. I don't understand how the Asians cornered the market in Austin for food carts back then. Movie should be made about the turf wars.
You ever catch the beat down white truck that went around resupplying those Asian food carts with the widest weirdest array of food? Super unsanitary and shady. Most of it pretty good. There was this pizza pocket thing that was pretty fucking good and cured hangovers.
Urban's life would be in danger if this were to happen. They don't like Texas but holy shit OSU fans would lose their shit. If we don't get him I hope this happens.
Facts. I've literally never had a bad meal at either one of those places ans gladly go when I get a chance. Are there a few places better? Yes. Is it pretty damn good? Yep.
El Arroyo was never awesome. Just OK. At no point did I eat a meal there and said that was really good. I started eating there in the 90s. Drinks and apps only place.
This is the T Man. Brisket cut into cubes, sliced sausage, beans, jalapeños and some sauce in there. I don't know why I love it so much but it's crack to me. Anyone had it?
Still one of my favorites and I don't go here if I just want brisket because there is better but the fucking T-Man from Bert's gives me a huge boner. I fucking love it.
