It'd be nice for once if one of our players with olympic speed would actually showcase it in a game then I'd be ok with hearing it every game for 4 years.
Makes sense Texas track is crazy good and has a history of producing Olympians. I assume he is more focused on getting the bag but I bet being able to sell him on potentially going to the NFL and Olympics after attending Texas like Marquise Goodwin helps.
Interesting Article about Arthur and McKennie: https://www.cbssports.com/soccer/news/juventus-arthur-talks-champions-league-life-with-pirlo-and-why-he-was-surprised-by-weston-mckennie/
I'm really hoping this was the game that helps Greenwood find his form from last summer. Having Greenwood playing like he was last summer would be huge.
I'm convinced some sides always get tougher draws than others. I know I already said it once in this thread but City always get the easiest draws. Like when Chelsea and United played each other 4 times last season.
Issue for Reynolds was on time payment to FC Dallas. Apparently Juve wanted to pay in June or pay over a period of time. FC Dallas wants cash now so I think Roma wins out because they are willing to pay up front. I think some financial group bought them out a year ago so they aren't exactly hurting for cash. Plus they probably take a champions league spot this year so they will get another infusion of cash for next season. I still don't see him going to Brugge because I assume Juve's financial situation is worse than Juve or Roma. They will probably pay at a later date as well. Also interesting thing to note was Juve's plan to loan Reynolds to Fiorentina. I wonder if to a degree this was a financial one. Fiorentina pays his wages for the first 6 months and Juve don't pay FC Dallas until June. I think they are holding out until they get their league money to pay up and any cup winnings. I think their financial situation might be worse than ppl realize.
Guy is really great at poaching goals. Also he is great at staying on side. I think his skill set is perfect for concacaf. I really hope he gets a call up the next time European players get the opportunity so he can start gelling with the squad.
What do yall think ends up happening to Hoppe? Apparently Hunterlar is going to finish his career this season at Schalke once he is loaned from Ajax. This might mean he loses his starting role. Hoppe's contract expires at the end of the season. Obviously he wants to see if Schalke can avoid demotion to BLi 2. I think the season ends and maybe Schalke win their relegation battle. (I think they finish 17th or 16th) I'm just curious what happens to his career. I think he jumps to a Mid-table BLi side for better wages plus more stable management.
Yeah I read somewhere the logic with him going to Swansea for the promotion fight is that he will get regular playing time increases his value and Seattle wants to sell in the summer transfer window if that loan spell goes well.
Would be great if he could go to Wolfsburg or Leverkusen. Apparently he was offered a loan deal by Swansea for the rest of the season to help them with their promotion fight.
