  1. SMU needs to keep winning, that and send a couple of spare offensive tackles over to Ft Worth.
  2. That call is pretty much in line for this crew tonight. The only group worse tonight on that field has been the TCU offensive line, but this group of officials has made it damn close. How the fuck with all the money spent and everything at stake in college football can they not get better officials?
  3. He has pledged $2B to Oregon Health & Science University Cancer Center. Not sure about the other $30B or so.
  4. This, growing pains and I am not sure if there is a way to avoid them and bloodlines don't mean shit when you are learning your way around the game. You can see the talent flash and I am lost why Sark keeps forcing him into the offense instead of fitting the offense to Arch's strengths.
  5. Did I say Arch is or has played poorly? What I asked is why is Sark asking Arch to do things over and over that haven't been working and might not be a strength right now and instead ask Arch to do the things he has been successful. If it sounds like I am trashing Arch I feel for you I will make it simple, why the fuck won't Sark call running plays for Arch and move him a bit in the pocket instead of doing the straight drop backs?
  6. Question and I will preface it by saying I am in no way a supposed quarterback whisperer or a guy on the internet who spends time in my basement breaking down video of quarterbacks. If your quarterback is struggling to do the things in your offense for you offense to be productive and the same quarterback has shown some abilities that aren't being used and could help you move the ball why wouldn't you add some of what said quarterback is successful at and move a bit away from forcing the areas in which they struggle?

This might be the best possible qualifying for non-papa race fans. Lando and Oscar can fit for third place, Max can try to win yet another race and push for a possible 5th title, and the only driver crazy enough to possibly beat Max to the corner is George. Perfect first lap would be Max and George collide in the first turn, Oscar and Lando were taken out by the shreds of carbon fiber spread across the track, and Crofty dies of a stroke screaming while trying to describe all that on BBC. One question from qualifying, how long until we hear for a restraining order against the Sky Sport cameraman who stalks Rebecca Donaldson each broadcast?
  8. Anyone else think this was a game that was going to be played in the Tomato Bowl with at least one member of the McCown family in the stadium?
  9. Gambling and office pools are what make March Madness so successful. Hell, the most popular sport on television in the US by far is the NFL, a league built around the idea of parity. limits spending, and orders draft picks by the worst record to the best. What has made the NFL so popular on TV is not the parity angle, but fantasy football. This convinces me the only future for the Big 12 is partnering with Indian casinos.
  10. You obviously have never spent time in the foothill villages of Crystal Lake and Woodstock which are NW of Chicago.
  11. This, average at best for a streaming series which means I am waying for it to show up on the CW with a cameo from Reba.
  12. Plus a .300+ average and >830+ OPS in 158 post season games so it is fairly tough to say those numbers are inflated by a few great series.
  13. Fire Dana!!!!! Espada is still with the organization, no changes with the medical staff, and no big trades or signings. WTF is he doing? Doesn't he know we only have less than half a year before spring training?!? Did i do that right?
  14. Who doesn't need a dependable connection to coke dealers around the league.
  15. They do, but those dollars didn't get spent on defensive players in the portal.
  16. Internet version of Ying and Yang.

Apparently Le Mans is a goal of Max. I was listening to a podcast and part of the discussion was that Max truly wants to build a top flight endurance team with his racing team and not simply have his name on a team. Makes perfect sense and he wanted to do this enough that he actually went through the qualifying process to get his license to compete in endurance racing.

Damn sure no DRS trains in endurance racing.
  19. Simply pull a Blue Bell, send out a notice, shut down production for a couple of weeks, re-release the product and hope not too many people get sick the second time around, or the third , or....
  20. Is Gundy's son still with the program as an offensive quality control?
  21. One thing to add on Patterson is that the defense started to slip with the retirement of Dick Bumpas who was truly the Co-DC with Gary and basically made the calls for the Frogs defensive front while Gary made the call for the secondary. After he retired, Gary took it all on himself and things started to slip, he got surrounded by a defensive staff who were more yes men and recruiters than people he respected and it showed on the field and in the program. I think another common trait between Patterson and Gundy is that over time they didn't keep up as well with the modern game on the field as well because they didn't want to change and they didn't have the staff needed to keep up with the "modern" game. Heck, that is one of the things that cost Landry with the Cowboys as well.
  22. Not so fast, first 3-4 picks are needed to finish out the Texans defense depth and then take another developmental quarterback who played in the SEC or the Big 10 and then focus on the offensive line.
  23. I know many don't like Rogan, but if you like Ken Burns, I would highly recommend listening to the conversation they had about Burns' career and the making of this particular series. Burns recall, attention to detail, to dig to find the stories that aren't always easy to find, and then relate that information is unparalleled.

Max wins at Nordschleife Gee, what did you do on your week off Max? Curious if one of the reasons Max stayed at Red Bull is that they won't stop him from doing these types of races during the F1 season.
