  1. Why ask for last six of social when everyone always asks for last four. Next time they’ll ask for first three and then it’s all out there.
  2. 2005 to be exact. Hurricane Katrina. That’s when Austin’s homeless problem got going in earnest. Especially downtown.
  3. Isn’t that how the problem got started in the first place?
  4. They have several varieties of square fish - almond crusted, baked, blackened, and fried with little prepackaged containers of sauces of tartare or red. Their boiled greens and jalapeño corn bread are quite legit for this southern boy.
  5. I bet the bank’s fragrance brings together cypress wood and honey, and, like a Madeleine de Proust, recalls the nostalgic memories of one’s youth and the spaces where they blossomed.
  6. I’ve seen The City of Austin charge $1000 per inch diameter for damaged trees. Our tree is about 24 inches in diameter. I’m not suggesting that our tree is worth $24,000 but it’s worth looking into. My mom said she wasn’t giving you a $1,000 per inch but if she did, you’d get ‘bout tree fiddy.
  7. Lightning struck a mature tree in front of our yard and split it in half. It’s a goner. Is the value of the tree covered by home owners insurance?
  8. I said that to my wife yesterday... put them in muni.
  9. Sounds like most of Tom Robins’ books
  10. He obviously had the wrong perks
  11. We had to repaint the exterior of our house a few years ago and I decided to pay the painter a couple of hundred dollars extra to remove them rather than repairing them. I had been bad about cleaning them and as a result they were causing to wood rot. I felt that they were causing more harm than good. It looks a lot nicer without them too. We do have some erosion at the drip line now, but overall no regrets.
  12. That dude looks every bit of 60 years old, not 33
  13. A Penthouse Forum? ... or 2 hot chicks?
  14. https://streamable.com/8yzvx
  15. On the run from Johnny Law, it ain’t no trip to Cleveland.
  16. Two tenderloins and a microphone.
  17. I’ve been thinking about getting a job as a rockstar, live large, fast cars.
  18. Whatever. OP - google rum runner
  19. Hey Buff- have you considered that your ex helped the other woman, not because she placed her needs above your daughter’s needs, but rather that she knew your daughter was in good hands?
  20. Were you able to bring them down from full MSRP? Where did you buy it?
  21. You give Love a bad name.
