Workspace 2.0™ is coming along nicely. Not pictured is the HeyGears wash station which vibrates too much to put on the main shelf here. The Bambu H2D is on its own stand since it can vibrate pretty wildly, too. I think for optimal OCD I need another shelf of spool containers, but that would require to move the boxes of filament somewhere else which would lower the feng shui of what's going on here. I also put a Vornado Transom directly behind the HeyGears RS Turbo to suck the toxic air out so someone else can deal with it. I'm hosting a LOTR War of the Ring board game session and movie get-together in a few months and am in the middle of a multi-week, non-stop resin printing marathon to create Gambody's Barad-Dur model as table decoration and ambiance. After ~25 auto-supported, auto-oriented, and auto-sliced plates so far, NONE have failed. That blows my mind. I can't believe people have been living this way. Owning both the Bambu and the HeyGears have been remarkable and hobby-changing.
It's the silliest cope in this whole ordeal full of silly shit. Star Trek was never woke, and it was never close to being woke. It clearly had progressive elements, but that's not woke. "Woke" is an entirely other deranged morass of slop and brainrot. Roddenberry's Star Trek is dead , so Star Trek is dead. Y'all are obviously free to enjoy whatever this is, but it's retarded to compare it to Roddenberry's vision. They don't even share similar DNA outside of two words on the title screen. This is impossibly dumb.
Landman, Tulsa King, and Yellowstone all in the top 4. The highest budget show at the bottom of the list, which is being made for an audience that doesnt exist. Maybe this is a sign that the great correction is coming...
This should just about be the final straw. In an era of routine IP slaughter, ST Academy is the new standard for "unmitigated disaster." Expect some big shake-ups regarding this IP if Paramount intends to make something lasting, or elevate to the now lofty goal of breaking even.
Just got to the episode where doofus and the chick break up. Good, Taylor got some feedback and wrote her out of the show, I think to myself. Then we follow her becoming a bartender, which she's even LESS suited for than being a love interest!!! FML Taylor, you're killing me here. Can we get one more oil rig explosion please? Maybe one recently built in the middle of a bar? That would only be the 4th silliest thing to happen on this show in 2.5 seasons.
There's a gem on his first solo album, Every Little Thing About You, that he described as "if Led Zeppelin did country" and it's a perfect description:
In the not-too distant furure, Metallica fans, for example, are listening to new Metallica music and their Metallica fan friends are too, but the two aren't listening to the same songs. Neither group feels the need to listen to anything created by contemporary artists. At least one song in the consensus top 10 list of most popular Metallica songs is a song created several years after James Hetfield's death.
After fiddling with Anycubic stuff for a decade, I decided to switch teams and installed a Bambu H2D today. Right from the first print, that's currently still cooking, I can immediately tell I've lived a lie until now.
Anyone want a Kobra Plus? It'll be sitting on the curb.
Falcon 4.0 for life.
Side note, I used to play Descent a lot, to the point where I had directory of other Descent players who belonged to a Descent game group, and we would PVP over dial-up. I had a Thrustmaster F-16 FLCS stick with the matching throttle and a pair of TM rudders. I DOMINATED that game group. I had that set-up because I was a huge fan of the Falcon series and there's no other way to play a dogfighting game than with a HOTAS. I still have the Falcon 3.0 and 4.0 big boxes in my office.
Pretty much agree. And I can list about 10 BB pedals that deserve a spot on a pedal board. In 2025, weve nailed BB alts, you dont need a boutique solution. (But I love boutique solution culture for a lot of other reasons.)
