THE College Football Playoff Rankings Thread [MICH,WASH,TEX,ALA]
This is fine thinking if you just assume FSU loses. If FSU wins and Oregon and Bama lose, then we are absolutely out of it and no one complains. If those teams win, then at least there's discussion. Plus, what has been reiterated countless times in this thread about 1-loss conference champs vs 1-loss non conference champs. If FSU, Washington, and Georgia all lose, congrats - Bama, Oregon, and Texas take their place. It's simple

Texas vs oSu - Big XII Championship - Pre-game Chatter
Not that I necessarily disagree with your final assessment, but I'd be curious how many 9-3/8-4/7-5 teams have similar resumes. It could just be these teams beat the teams they're supposed to, lose to the ones that are better than them, and maybe have a game or two go either direction (win a game they shouldn't or lose a game they should win).

Nope. Washington is 100% getting in if they win. If Oregon wins, it isn't 100%. Sure, are the odds high? Yes, especially since the committee has repeatedly put them over us. I'm not arguing that. But, if it's down to Oregon and Texas, the committee at least has to answer themselves. Even if Oregon has a 99% chance, that still gives Texas a chance. Texas has no chance with Washington winning. Some of y'all are being intentionally obtuse.

NFL Week 7
I at least kind of maybe could see a scenario where the second one is potentially a flag. He did hold and pull his arm. To be fair, I do think it was uncatchable, but I think that probably gets called if it's in the field of play. The first one I don't really understand...maybe I need to see another replay. The browns WR pushed the CB to the ground and the CB gets called?

ND vs USC on NBC 6:30pm
Yeah but he called the timeout before that. And, the ref fucked up the placement which burned more time than would have been expected. Plus, the refs were initially willing to let the play go (hence the flags in the first place) - though granted they probably could have reviewed it. I think it looks bad of course and I'm not sold it was some genius move - more like he panicked seeing all his guys offsides - but I don't necessarily think it was terrible.

ND vs USC on NBC 6:30pm
Kind of easy to say bad timeout because time would have run out. But not easy to tell if they would've been able to snap the ball or not. Also, with ND having so many players offsides, USC could've easily tried to take a free play and go for a poorly defended TD instead of downing the ball.

Yeah, BC is bad. Between them and UVA, not sure who the worst ACC team is. Although after this game I guess it's UVA

K-State at Missouri - 11am on SEC network
Maybe because he just (temporarily) saved his job after basically losing it 3 minutes earlier with that delay of game penalty.
