I hear you (pun intended). This is our first attempt at it and were able to scrape together a $13k budget, still getting adjusted to what that money can buy.
I appreciate and welcome the feedback.
A few friends and I developed and shot a short film during our Covid year and are finally getting it into the final stages of development. Wanted to share the trailer here and get more eyeballs on it.

I posted about our Kickstarter in the “Help” forum if you’re interested, don’t want to add solicitation here.
A few friends and myself developed and shot our first short film thanks to the hiatus everyone got from the pandemic. This project is about a year in the making and we are currently working on fundraising to help with the post-production process and marketing for film festivals, etc.
I generally hate soliciting myself or anything I do, so I won’t do that. Instead, I will share the link to our page and allow you to decide if it’s worthy of moving forward in the developmental process and out into the world.

I knew it wasn’t actually CTJ’s when the listing didn’t include a full-sized track and shed in back with photos of Plonsky and Greg Davis pinned on the walls.
Might have missed this point of the convo, but could we do a raffle based system to make this slush fund about signed memorabilia? $25-$50 tickets to win a signed football/helmet by worthy or whomever the recipient is?
This could get more buy-in from T-shirt fans and something Surly could cross promote on social media.
Relax, Ethel. Texas hasn’t developed a culture of caring about basketball and everyone is used to getting their cheers drowned out by the size of the drum.
Create an atmosphere where it actually feels like your voice matters and the student base will be more involved.
I still have a difficult time not looking at the OL situation as the link that is causing the rest of the team to fail. The second half the past two weeks have been riddled with false starts, holding calls and inconsistent protection/blocking. This has led to short drives and skewed time of possession. The thing that gives me hope is we have played so damn well in the first half of games on defense that fatigue has to be one of the major factors (not looking deeply into halftime adjustments) and hoping that if we can find a way to sustain drives and get the defense off the field in the second half, the performance will improve.
There’s a strong chance that I am a hopeless romantic with a propensity toward blind naivety, but I have to cope somehow.
