  1. I agree, that’s been my biggest concern. The land should not take much in terms of development to prepare it, but I don’t know the specific requirements of proximity to the grid/substation. We have received quotes for around $3 million to sell outright, but that would be a much more difficult conversation because it’s land that is jointly owned by multiple family members. We are hoping this is an accommodation to those that want to hold the land but still drive revenue and hopefully the value is that much greater for the next generation. It’s something we’re considering but the numbers I’ve seen don’t match the profits I know to be out there. Our family has hit a point where everyone is old/young enough to pitch in to business pursuits and I’m a big believer in working to get something done on your own accord before outsourcing. I’m just doing my due diligence on seeing if this isn’t something we can manufacture on our own and maximize the profits.
  2. I have seen examples of solar companies developing out as little as 10 acres. With the size of our land, I thought it could be something we could manage ourselves as long as the funding falls in place.
  3. Family and I are sitting on 100-acres of farmland in Parker County in which we are looking into developing a solar farm. The land is mostly flat and without trees, directly connected to the grid in Brock, Tx. I was hoping someone might have some insight to the developmental process/permits needed/companies in the industry/ESG partnering opportunities. We would like to keep this within the fold of our business and develop it ourselves if possible.
  4. Ironically, also the same day his season ended.
  5. Use words like insipid and call his mother the goblin shark of the human race to distract him while you fight.
  6. Your age has nothing to do with it, this football program can make any man soft. Speaking of, I’m developing a support group for those that need to talk about UT football. It’s called Flaccid Fans and you can join us at Denny’s after every home game.
  7. He’s clearly going for the strip, textbook form. Not his fault the rb had it in his left hand.
  8. If I’m a driving instructor I feel like that nickname would really carry some weight.
  9. I think he’s saying confidence within the building is building inside the building. Situation is fluid.
  10. Gender fluidity is an obvious must under these circumstances.
  11. I also have a thing for kinky-haired meth dealers living in a double wide.
  12. You want to know how I know I’ve been watching too many episodes of Ozark lately?
  13. If I’m Ewers I’m giving it to him the day he steps on campus if it means adding a Biletnikoff winner. Contingent on a $250k purchase price.
  14. Back in my day there was a young pup named Brock Cunningham that had no right being on the floor for any team in the big 12, but boy did he work hard.
  15. But now aggy has to maintain this on a year over year basis. If they raise the stakes for the next class, the previous class threatens to transfer unless they get more money. There will not be any sustainable success under that model and schools will be discouraged to use it.
  16. I love takes like this from Carlo as if paying these kids is stealing from the coffers of the poor, downtrodden NCAA. How will they keep their lights on? There is excess in the market right now as it’s a bidding war for talent. Valuations will normalize as this pace isn’t sustainable.
