Yep pretty much.
The big question over the next 12-18 months will be how pervasive and persistent are the food shortages? That will determine how many Sri Lanka’s happen.
My understanding is that it’s a margin call at 21k. It’s from a USD loan that they received that used BTC as collateral. If it reaches that point they just pledge more BTC which they have plenty of. This loan was the last time that they levered up.
I believe it was this transaction.
I’d love to know who’s leaking intel about the extent of our involvement. The “deep state” or military industrial complex at its worst. Even if you want us balls deep in the conflict but under the radar it’s no benefit to us to broadcast it. Those people want escalation, anonymously of course. Scumbags.

In any case, my point was that the idea that women are suddenly dying everywhere because doctors refuse to do these surgeries thinking they’re somehow illegal is false.
Confidence that they know what they’re doing?
Or confidence that they’re in control of the situation?
Imo 2 different things. The first can be corrected. 2nd obviously not.
What’s the specific Bitcoin mining subsidy yall are referencing?
ASIC miners can run for years. Maybe you’re thinking of gpu cards that burn out? Those are only economical with smaller shitcoins.
This is the second installment by an author I shared above. Goes more in depth. The behind the meter mining is pretty interesting and gives some examples of how it can make green projects more viable.
Also lists some of the potential downsides for people here.
