  1. Man, I’m beginning to think we suck.
  2. Hard to say if this was a professional or well-trained civilian. No matter what anyone says, a 200 yard shot is not easy. 30-06 or not. You have to take into account the wind, distance, pressure, and the fact that Kirk was under that tent. Did the shooter have a clear view? I guess we won't know until more comes out. But man, ONE shot at 200 yards and hitting your target under pressure? Not easy imo.
  3. Jordan Shipley 2.0
  4. We still kinda suck.
  5. [emoji849]
  6. Well. We suck.
  7. Pretty much says what I thought while watching the game. "SO WEIRD". Arch did not look comfortable AT ALL. That hopefully is all there is to it. His footwork was horrible. And yeah, what the guy says again and again, he looked like he was really laboring throwing the ball. This guy shows the plays and man, there were tons of open guys who were missed. Hope Arch can get it all right.
  8. I think he meant last year. Chip Kelly (the OC last year) left . That is what he meant.
  9. I’ll be honest…I didn’t know who the Ohio State coaches were. Other than Day. Since then, I’ve seen tons of posts about how “Patricia did this and that” and also forgot he won 3 super bowls. Arch was seeing ghosts for sure. Tough matchup on his first road game and first of the season. Let’s let the team get it together and get rolling. I’ll keep the faith until we play Florida in early October.
  10. Well, that didn’t last long.
  11. Looking these stats, I’d think we won. Man. Hurts.
  12. Is Sark really an offensive genius? Geez
  13. Well, this sucks so far. Thankful the defense is good.
  14. I am in the year 2045 (or so) in my latest dynasty. To me, it is the most fun I have had. Just a little reminder of how I play. I play 1-2 games every season, sim the rest. To me, it is just a good way for me to "escape" and let my mind be numb. ANYWAY, my favorite dynasty so far: Started as the real head coach at Memphis, Ryan Silverfield. Not sure why, just wanted to see how it was different than making my own coach. Spent about 7 years at Memphis, got into the CFP once. Switched between a few offensive playbooks, but finally decided on the Mississippi State playbook. Decided to try and help Mississippi State become a national power. Took them to 2 national championship games in....I don't remember how many seasons I was there, maybe 6. Lost two national titles in-a-row, so I decided to leave for The U. Their coach retired and they were rated as 99 offense, 98 defense. I thought, "no way I can screw this up." In my 7 seasons at Miami I won 4 national titles. I am now a legend. I also finished my last season with the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation. First time ever. But, something was missing. I had grown too safe and comfortable and wanted to challenge myself. So, I left.......for Louisiana Tech. I have just started my first season at Louisiana Tech. Using the same Mississippi State playbook, I think we can build this team like we did with Memphis. Their returning QB (Can't remember first name, but last name is "Awesome") is an 85 overall dual-threat QB. He is going to be, you guessed it, awesome.
  15. I think we dominate them like we did Michigan last year. Texas 34 Ohio State 20 Arch has 247 passing yards. 63 rushing yards.
  16. What are yalls thoughts on Branded Bills? I like the style, but can’t make up my mind on the rubber looking logo. Also the price is outrageous. But, the material (seen a buddies hat) is great.
  17. haha yeah. The other two legs are attached to those large metal garden bracket things. When I moved the feeder not long ago I bent the third bracket, and was too tired to go buy a new one and come back. It's good! I promise! That third leg sunk in after a damn heavy rain. Same day I got stuck in my Tundra for a little while. Took me forever to get out. hahahah. Oh, and I am near Tyler.
  18. Hard to see in this photo, but had these three young bucks on my camera the other day. These are what? 2.5? They definitely have potential if they make it. And yeah, I have some mowing to do.
  19. Only thing I can think of: Are you taking the snap and moving directly back with the QB? Usually the throw is "off balance" since you are moving backwards. If that makes sense. you can't take the snap, stand there and get it off. The OL is moving out of the way too quickly. Gotta run backwards immediately. I played last night and was thinking about this thread. Used the screen a few times and had about the same level of success. Better teams are more likely to shut it down though.
  20. I don't think I have perfected it, but it has been working for me: Keep in mind, I am usually starting dynasties with 3* or worse teams, so not much experience with recruiting with more dominant teams. Let's say I have 8-10 guys who have me as their NO. 1 team. If I have 450 recruiting points total, I will only add the amount of guys which allows me to spend 50 points on them week one. (This is after I've already offered them scholarship 5 points when I am setting up my board.) In this scenario, maybe I have left off 4 guys who have me as their top school. To me, that is ok. If they are not on my list and with no scholarship offer, they USUALLY still keep me as their no. 1. I have no science to prove this, but adding a recruit to your list makes them wanted more by other schools. Moving on: those initial recruits that I have added and spent 50 points on, they USUALLY sign with me. Maybe 1-2 don't, it really depends on their rating. 1-2 stars are obviously easier to get than 3-5 stars. Once more points become available, I will spend those on the other recruits who still have me listed as their top school. You'd be surprised at how quickly your class can fill up just by doing this. Also, some guys will add you later in the season and make you their top school. When you are late in the season, be sure to see which recruits are still available. The ones who have not signed are way more likely to sign with you, especially when you throw 50 points their way in week 11. Again, not always a sure thing, but it does work. If you are a crappy school, sign whoever you can. Doesn't matter if they are a bust or not IMO. You just need bodies. A "bust" 4* at Akron/Buffalo/etc etc is better than a 1 or 2-star IMO. These "busts" are usually the guys who are available later in the season. Especially the higher-rated ones. The postseason portal is kind of the same thing: Find recruits you want/need and give them 50 (or whatever max points you can give them) points as soon as you can. Those initial recruits are likely to sign with you. Again, I don't think this is a fool-proof plan, but it has worked for me.

Damn. This is a sexy watch.
  22. Hmm. Could be the level I am playing on. I am not on the highest, I guess second highest? All American? I wouldn't say I am 100% on screens, but it definitely is one of my fave plays. Seems like this year the Jet Sweep is broken. I can't do shit with that play anymore.
  23. I love the game so far. I think it is way better than 25. The gameplay is smooth and the player animations are pretty sick. I love the different "identities" (whatever they are called I cant remember) each player can have. A "Gadget" guy can play QB/CB/etc. if needed. Stuff like that is really cool. I also love the addition of some small but big things like an actual list of National Championship winners, award winners, etc. The transfer portal while tough, is actually fairly realistic. Dudes leave no matter what, but, it usually is pretty easy to get new guys in. I lost 15 guys one year, brought in about 12 from the portal. Takes some getting used to. I also think the stats are better. To be fair, I almost NEVER play online. I am an old school dude who plays a dynasty by myself. I skip a LOT of games just to do it. The stats just look better than last year's game. More realistic IMO. Not to be Mr. Johnny Sunshine, some of the things I still hate: a lot of black kickers. White CBs. The faces/hairstyles on some of the guys are HORRIBLE. That is small, but it bothers me. At least let us change it. Recruting it harder, which I kinda like. Keeps me on my toes. I still haven't figured out the best way to do it, but I do know that if you go heavy after guys late who haven't signed, they most likely will sign with you. again, I am sure there will be more updates, but I really like it so far.
  24. Man, I have different results. I'd say no less than +5 yards every time I use it. One of my "go to" plays.

Just got this Orient Solar Panda in the mail today. Switched out the metal strap for a black rubber I had. Feels great and I love the look.
