Are you employed by Amazon and have you been pooping on people's porches and lawns?

Yes. If you want to see what the glasses can do, click here. He took this photo and the succeeding ones with the glasses. Just click the arrow on the right side of the photo. He must have been looking in a mirror when he took the first one. You can see the little camera on the frames. I should also point out that these glasses came out in 2023, so an upgrade version should come out this year. Also, there are a number of better glasses coming to market. Samsung has a pair that apparently are fantastic.
On the plus side, the Meta glasses are pretty cool. My friend Tony is a river guide in Terlingua and he got some so that he can broadcast live while he's on the river with the glasses + Starlink (I know ... Elon) and still have both his hands free. I am pretty impressed with the quality of the photos he's taken with them. He said they're about to come up with a new iteration that should be even better.
I thought the movie was fine but 1) it was so loud at the IMAX I saw it at (Barton Creek). This is becoming a recurring theme for me in movies that I see in theaters. I've quit going to the Alamo because of the chaotic screeching, especially in the previews 2) it was so loud that I ended up putting crushed up napkins in my ears as makeshift earplugs. This caused me to not catch a bunch of the dialogue. I'm going to have to wait to see it at home with subtitles turned on. Also, you kids get off my lawn.
I was just thinking that the Simms/Applewhite controversy was sort of dying and that we needed a new controversy to beat into the ground for the next 22 years.
About 35 years ago I went to visit an old German girlfriend in Hamburg for about 10 days. She was just moving into an apartment ---- her first "on her own" apartment. It was really just one room with a small bathroom attached. I'd say it was about 400 square feet and had a murphy bed that pulled up against the wall when she wasn't sleeping. So we went to Ikea to get her furniture. I'd never been to Ikea or even heard of it and was rather amazed. They had all kinds of this modular furniture. We bought a ton of it and they delivered it the next day. We spent a couple of days assembling it all and it was rather cool, how they were able to cram all of these modular things into one apartment. Of course, it was mostly particle board but it looked a lot like this photo. A few days later another friend from southern Germany came to stay with us for about a week. She walked in, took a look around, and said "Ikea?" It just had that look. Then all three of us spent the next week sleeping together in that one bed. Good times.
