austin radio stuff
I drove all the way to northern Minnesota and back just listening to Texas music. Then I'd switch over to the Austin music channel for awhile, then BBC, then back to Texas music. All with no commercials. I don't like every song but even the ones I don't like I usually find interesting. As long as you've got a phone with a connection to the internet, you're golden.

"It's the coaches fault and therefore we must fire the coaches" is such a lazy meme.- Texas Recruiting Notes 2025: Duck Around and Find Out
I hate to say this because I hate the idea of players leaving every year, but it almost seems like it makes more sense to try to buy a new team every year ----- after seeing who actually pans out ----- than to park a large amount of money for two years in a player who won't see the field. Until he's a redshirt sophomore.- Texas Recruiting Notes 2025: Duck Around and Find Out
Believe it or not, Ketch did a deep dive on this whole retention thing about a week or so ago, using Fasuci as an example, and it was some very good stuff.- austin radio stuff
I like Jeff Ward and Ed Clemens. When I'm out away from Austin, I put KUT on my phone and Bluetooth it through my car speakers. They have about 10 different commercial free streams including BBC, but what I really like is the Texas music channel. They'll play Ernest Tubb followed by Ghetto Boys followed by Gruppo Fantasma followed by Slaid Cleaves. Good stuff.- Elon Musk: Nazi traitor piece of shit [Confirmed]
I don't care. The cultists don't read Texas history, anyway.- Elon Musk: Nazi traitor piece of shit [Confirmed]
Yes, revenue from ad sharing has been consistent, every month. However, I still can't offer subscriptions, which are "pending review." It has been pending review for about 16 months. I went to their help desk with it about six months ago and I could tell that I was dealing with an AI chatbot. I have a feeling doing so may have kicked me back to the end of the line. Maddening.- Elon Musk: Nazi traitor piece of shit [Confirmed]
That's my sense, too. There are a whole bunch of new history accounts on threads and we're all following one another and interacting. Hopefully Zuck leaves it alone and quits fucking with algorithms.- Elon Musk: Nazi traitor piece of shit [Confirmed]
What can I say? I was pissed off at Elon for driving my engagement down. 18 months ago I was getting 14-15 million views per month. Now I'm lucky if I get 5 million views per month. This despite the fact that I've added 30 thousand followers over that period. The problem is that I've lost 30 thousand actual living followers and they've been replaced by 60 thousand bots, who don't engage with my account. Elon's politics are causing the platform to crash in terms of engagement for his creators. That's why I tweeted that. Of course, Elon gives no shits, which I don't understand. He thinks he's god of the universe and that he's smarter than every other person on the planet. He's not.- Elon Musk: Nazi traitor piece of shit [Confirmed]
There's some blather on Twitter that Robert DeNiro's account got suspended for making violent threats. Other accounts are saying it's not DeNiro's account. Who knows anything anymore?- The Far Side Returns, Gary Larson Went Digital.

”Now, listen to this, now. Uh, Arnie, go down, uh, ten steps and cut left behind the black Chevy. Filbert, you run down to my house and wait in the living room.
