  1. well if you were sound asleep and woke up to loud explosions you probably would bounce off a wall or two before waking up completely.
  2. Can't argue about Bailey - sure he gets in but I could go either way on first ballot. This is shaping up as a really weird possible class - maybe no RB's or QB's in the final 15 or so.
  3. Way early but the off season is here. Who gets in as a regular player? The senior committee hasn't named their candidate yet and neither has the contributors committee so we are left with the regular players. And as an aside they finally corrected the huge injustice by voting Jerry Kramer in... Next up should be Gil Brandt... For the regular players the minimum is four and max is eight. First time candidates that are well known are Tony Gonzalez, Champ Bailey and Ed Reed. others from the 2018 finalists include Tony Boselli Isaac Bruce Brian Dawkins Alan Faneca Steve Hutchinson Joe Jacoby John Lynch Kevin Mawae I think Gonzalez and Reed are locks and probably Bailey. With two DB's that pretty much rules out any others. There is a lot of lineman but not a lot of defensive lineman so I am going with Faneca and Hutchison. Guessing that Bruce might make it just because there are very little offensive skill positions out there. That makes six..
  4. The list is long and distinguished ...... am unfortunately I got the same letter as last year
  5. not an expert but think it is inevitable since bermuda can spread from the mower clippings
  6. Never found a good way and never saw the zoysia win.... The only thing that seemed to work was a small shovel and digging up the roots and using a small application to apply roundup only on bermuda
  7. On my Accord I turned lane departure off while driving home from the dealer and never regretted it

20 years ago on Labor day weekend. Walked on at Grand National outside Auburn. I had played it before and loved it so I tried again. Dropped an 81 from the blues. COuldn't complaign about not getting under 80 because I remember that I did not mishit anything - just a really good time
  9. A pretty good reference site. the author did a lot of work. The Pacific War On Line Encyclopedia http://pwencycl.kgbudge.com/index.htm
  10. Makes sense. I know mine had totally froze before I took it in so it probably needed a few new parts.
  11. Think he is low on the Rolex cost. My Sub ran 900 at Rolex for a full service and an independent might be half that but parts are probably the same price either way.
  12. He pretty much lived life as he wanted. Can't do much better than that...
  13. Think this was a northern guy but legendary
  14. Exactly - the penalty of getting tossed and losing future tickets forever has a great effect on behavior. I have posted this before but they could end the yelling crap by starting to enforce any existing laws on public intox. Yep it's low priority but a few hours in the drunk tank and having to explain in job interviews - might make people think twice.
  15. RIP to Hubert Green Us older golfers know how good he was. Two majors including one with a death threat during the round and a bunch of other wins. One of the very few to win three in a row and he"owned" his swing. The Senior Tour is pretty much the last place you will see pros with homemade swings that work. Followed him a few times at the Senior event in Austin and he was absolutely a grinder - he knew how to get the ball in the hole - a member of the Golf HOF
  16. I was not saying anything here was fake. As was mentioned - if you make a divers watch then you have to have some common elements with any other dive watch. The counterfeits are the ones that are made in China but still say Rolex on the dial which are totally different than a similar dive watch. A lot of the Subs for sale are these models and are used to cheat an unsuspecting buyer. And the manufacturer of these fakes are getting better and better at disguising from the real thing
  17. Probably a minority here but I call it a counterfeit and not a copy. And mostly because the bad guys are always trying to sell it as genuine when they know it's from a factory in China - not because my 25 year old sub is original.
  18. and this years it's a two hole playoff - I think
  19. what was that reaction from Stenson on the birdie? Looked like he absolutely wanted it to miss
  20. You should google the retirement plan. It's outrageous. Depends on cuts made but a lot of the mid level pros are not going to have to worry
  21. did I just hear that they did not move the hole location on 13? never heard of keeping the same location on two straight days
  22. 12th green looks really bad at 10 am
  23. crap - was trying to type "was not" and somehow left out the second word...
  24. First look at pin on 9. Gonna be fun. Of course Fowler just stuck it a few feet away. Already seeing brown spots near cup
