  1. Playing both ranked teams on their home court worked to Vanderbilt’s advantage.
  2. Playing in Norman as compared to Columbia really helped OU.
  3. Bummer that Crump is out again. Maybe have her back Sunday for Aggie?
  4. Js offers a great deal of insight into softball with facts to back it up. He does this in all Texas women's sports. I appreciate his knowledge. Just because he disagrees with a take doesn't make it gatekeeping per se. No need to bicker. Just move on.
  5. He mentioned in the presser how he felt someone should have intervened during spring meetings on the team's behalf regarding the schedule, but didn't name anyone. Was he referring to CDC?
  6. From Vic’s comments about Crump on Wednesday, it sounds like she’s close to coming back. I guess she broke a bone in her foot or something?
  7. My husband and I are in our early 60's. We keep our MAGI purposefully low to qualify for a subsidy. I'm not happy about that, but it's the way the game is structured. ACA Blue Cross/Blue Shield TX HMO, $0 premium, $6,000 individual deductible ($12,000 family), and $10,800 max out of pocket individual ($21,200 family). Last year, the monthly premium was $708.30, no deductible, and $1,200 max out of pocket individual (family $2,400). Crazy how it jumped from one year to the next.
  8. Looking forward to seeing the outcome of the Ole Miss and OU game. Ole Miss is better than their rank, and OU hasn't played a team yet that plays defense.
  9. Interesting that Old Miss has only played two away games this season: Alabama A&M and Memphis.
  10. The grass is always greener...
  11. Rub some dirt on it and be healthy in March— why not both?
  12. Texas beat #2, #3, and #11 with 7 players. Let’s do it one more tIme against Baylor.
  13. Vic mentioned in the presser after the game that none of the injured would be cleared for Wednesday’s game, but he seemed hopeful for Saturday’s game. I’m guessing the one closest to being ready is Preston.
  14. Hell to the yes!! That was some Texas fight.
  15. Plus, Chavez is averaging 34.5 minutes per game compared to Crump's 22.2 minutes per game. It seems Crump is more efficient in her minutes played, given that her production is equal to or better than Chavez in the categories you cited. All in all, I like our Aaliyah better.
  16. Chavez’s defense is not good. She wouldn’t have seen the floor much here with a defensive effort like that. And 25% shooting doesn’t cut it, either. It will be interesting to see how much she improves before we play them in January.
  17. Not on my bingo card for a kid that grew up in north Texas. Will be interesting if she stays there four years.

Who recruited those girls who are not good?
  19. That was a weird announcement by Vanderbilt.
  20. Par for the course for Gasso anymore.
  21. It’s new that she will have surgery on both knees.
  22. Aaliyah Moore is having knee surgery on both knees. https://x.com/ChipBrown247/status/1922383820361199840
  23. The whole thing with her transfer seems off. Waiting until the last day to declare, after telling Danny Davis she was excited about playing at Texas next year? Strange…
