What are the saints doing with Kamara? He had a career night two weeks ago and now he's in there half the time. Doesn't even get a look in crunch time.
Some place warm, a place where the beer flows like wine, where beautiful women instinctively flock like the salmon of Capistrano. I’m talking about a little place called Aspen.
Jesus just stop. I've seen whitey Ford pitch in more old timers games than you've been there. The Yankees history didn't start in 1999 or whenever you hopped on board. Except for a few years the Yankees were pretty mediocre to bad for about 30 years from the mid 60s to early 90s. There were plenty of years with less than half full stadiums. The Bronx was burning and nobody wanted to go. A lot of us suffered through a lot of shit years before George hired somebody to draft and develop talent instead of buy every overpriced pos that was on the wrong side of 30. They forgot that and did the same thing after the most recent run was over. We haven't had a ws appearance since 09. Likewise the lifelong Astros fans have dealt with a few years of teases every decade or so. Finally broke through after the seasons of complete suckage new management knew it would take to get the talent and develop it. The fans didn't go anywhere but its really hard to justify packing a stadium to watch 100 losses for years straight. Quit with the holier than thou crap because you picked a team that was in the ws every year when you were a kid and happened to have the yes network.
Is a quote from the wire. I know what you meant. I'm sure they tried to manage expectations but its tough. Memories are only long in this business when it comes to sale metrics.
Of dick. I kid. They two obvious ones to me would be boeing and bmw but I'm sure they aren't hiring much either. Go back for a teaching or nursing degree. Profit.
Its been almost 12 years since we lost out on a mnc appearance because we didn't know how to run clock. This wasn't the only reason we lost in either case but we've not a learned a god damn thing in that time. There is a reason good coaches win these games (not that it should have been close anyway). We can't get out of our own way.
