  1. Probably made in the same factory that produces Walmart's Ozark Trail copy of the Bugout. I have one and it's a screaming steal for approximately $10.
  2. I didn't watch the game, but I see that ISU shot 50% from the line on 22 FT attempts. That is horribad. If the 'Clones had lost that game . . .
  3. Yeah, I should have also mentioned Lotus as another one that we've hit (multiple times) previously. First time I went there was years ago when there was just one location and it was in this rundown stripmall. The wife was apprehensive. But the food was great and we've gone back several times after the move and expansion. I'll check out the other places. Thank you.
  4. Gimme your Vegas off-strip restaurant recs. "Hole in the wall" and/or "old school" places would be especially great. Something on the Henderson side would work especially well, but we'll go wherever if necessary. We did Piero's and Black Sheep the last time we were in LV (both of which were great), so we'll probably look to go somewhere different this time around. TIA
  5. For $60, you might not be able to do better. Really good, esp. for the $.
  6. First names I thought of when I initially saw this thread were Holly, Valens, and Hendrix, all of whom have been mentioned multiple times. I only scanned the older posts, so I may have overlooked something, but one name I don't recall seeing was Eddie Cochran. He was only 21 when he died & was starting to become quite popular. He was a big influence on several of the British Invasion bands, and it would have been interesting to see what he would have done in that decade.
  7. I assume Crater Lake NP will be on that itinerary. That park is either at or close to the top of my list of national parks that I haven't yet seen. You should also hit Redwoods NP in the northwest corner of California.
  8. Green River Full Proof for $5 more is pretty damn good
  9. That's awesome -- had noticed the cheerleader in the past when watching that play on Youtube, and always chuckled at the fact that he did his gymnastics on the field. He basically did it right in front of the ref marking the spot, too. (FWIW, he was doing backflips instead of cartwheels, but same difference.) Thanks for sharing that.
  10. Yeah, I thought Plemons was better in his role than Leo was in his. JMO. Re: Delbis, that's my understanding as well. Had to be an enormous challenge for that young man to do what he did.
  11. Plemons was outstanding in his role, IMO. Although Stone did her usual terrific job, I thought Plemons overshadowed her in the scenes they had together. I also thought Aidan Delbis, the young man who played Don, was excellent as well -- particularly impressive given that it was his film debut. SPOILER ALERT
  12. Ah, that's probably the case. His reference to the Bears and Cowboys would be correct then.
  13. Not sure where you're getting your info, but you need to double-check your source. My Vikings haven't been to a Super Bowl since the 1976 season. And the Lions have never even made it to a Super Bowl.
  14. Still a big nope from me. I wouldn't want Texas to have any association with people who were stupid enough to apply to and enroll at A&M in the first place.
  15. Any restaurant and casino recs on the Henderson side of town?
