  1. Counsell would be great. Proven track record and checks alot of boxes. He's old school, ok with analytics, and has won at a decent clip as a manager.
  2. Its the cycle of rage the internet is having fun with. Float a terrible candidate, let everyone rage for a few days, then repeat.
  3. Yep. And if he returns and miraculously stays healthy then its house money. Go sign a stud pitcher and reliever.
  4. Lourdes would be great, but he's going to want a long term deal and we have OF in the farm. I just don't see the Astros doing that, but it would be cool if they did. I would like Brantley to walk because of injury concerns. JD Martinez would be good here, but that puts Yordan in LF most of the time. I think we should open the wallet for Nola, Snell, or Gray. We land one of these, it all but guarantees we're back in the playoffs. In the BP, Hader would be great and hopefully Neris comes back too.
  5. Garcia returns at the ASB? What about LMJ? Thats 7 arms if they're all healthy, and that's a big if.
  6. I think it starts out as a stretch of bad luck then becomes entirely mental. It absolutely has to be mental at this point.
  7. By miles and miles
  8. The only thing that would be a bigger deal than this would be a Cowboys/Texans Super Bowl... and thats probably never going to happen.. The Cowboys suck
  9. Good points. Its important to cover every angle and not go off on a tangent.
  10. Insidiousness? Really? We banged on trash can to tip pitches for a half season in 2017, a tactic that was dropped in the opening games of 2018 because it didn't work, proven by the fact the Astros had a better road record than home record that season. Chuckie is absolutely correct. People are pissed that the Astros have pushed in their stool for 8 years on the field. The media was especially concerned with the fact that St. Yankee kept repeatedly getting bitch slapped by Houston. Case and point is Ranger fan having Astro balls drug across their face once again this past Sunday and all of the sudden the cheating bullshit comes out again, 6 years after it happened. Had the Rangers won, we're not going to be crying about Pudge and Juan Gonzales doing roids. Its the use of the word insidiousness that discredits every point you were trying to make. Baylor's scandal was insidious, as was Penn States. The Astros was wrong, but they have apologized, been punished, and paid the price for what they did and then some. Insidious? GTFO
  11. I like watching him in the video of the 1st post.. You can see his improvement as he gets more and more comfortable with the position.
  12. I'm thinking if Chris O and JC had a baby, it would be JBrooks.
  13. Ok so we have comps to Rochon, Ced, Arian Foster, and JC. Lets go ahead and throw in Earl and Barry Sanders while we're at it.
  14. World......Baseball......Classic Fuck that fucking tournament
  15. I crack up at everyone having to have an offroader these days. You would thing DFW is one giant mud ranch with no pavement whatsoever with all the lifted trucks and wranglers.
  16. Lone Star Hunts, near Petrolia..
  17. Wichita Falls was great yet again..
  18. I also like that theres none of those stickers on the rear fender. Way classier this way. Did you have them removed?
  19. This is awesome. I wish I had one. If I ever need to haul ass through the desert to move a bbq grill for a friend I'm shit out of luck.
  20. Everything is better when Yanier catches. Team W/L, pitcher ERA, passed balls.. he is clearly the superior player..
  21. Arlington could have absolutely used those pitchers. I guess Cleveland came first in the waiver order; not sure how all that works
  22. Its big enough to let a player and/or his agent know.. Somebody dropped the ball for ESPN to find out first. In other news, I picked up Jasson on my fantasy team based on you hyping him up.. We shall see.
  23. So the media finds out major transactions before the players? OK. And of all the shit you have eaten up the past few years, the idiot comment is pretty rich.
