  1. I don't like to judge but I don't think the color commentator should've taken a xanax before the game.
  2. Henry is such a weapon man.
  3. No need to get upset. Maybe head over to the Quinn Ewers thread and blow off some steam.
  4. Are you going to keep this up in every thread for the next eight months? We’re not getting any new data points on Sark, does it really matter if everyone agrees with you that he is mediocre, kind of good, good or whatever you think is the right descriptor? It’s so tedious.
  5. My "Money is NOT a huge factor for me" t-shirt has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my shirt.
  6. I would think that Jaydon Chatman and Andre Cojoe will be credible backup options as seniors. You'd hope that one or two of Jackson Christian, Sikorski and the Coleman brothers is not completely disastrous. If we get Seaton somehow, a passable left guard and a backup center, we're in pretty good shape. We'd actually have excellent tackle depth and then you just pray that one of the backup guards can play at about a Cole Hutson level.
  7. Aggie 1: Yes, this is because TU has a bad culture and only wants players whose only concern is money. Elko wants players who are better than the TU players but also may qualify for sainthood after death. This is all evidenced by our epic 11-1 season in which we basically beat the national champions if it wasn’t windy. Aggie 2: Explains a lot and makes total sense to me.
  8. When they’re down 31-6 in the 4th quarter with Cam Coleman celebrating by imitating pissing on their logo, they can still hold their heads high knowing they are following the rules.
  9. Not a loss, the Elk passed. He'd be an Aggie if they wanted him. Watch the tape, you don't need Cam Coleman when you've already got Ashton Bethel-Roman.
  10. I look forward to your public apology to Brandon Harris when we get Cam Coleman and he dick slaps Oregon State for a guy who might have a chance to compete for honorable mention All-Mountain West Conference next year.
  11. Great idea as long as Texas is planning to move to the Sun Belt Conference.
  12. Perfect scheme fit. Shifty enough to make 1-2 defenders miss in the backfield and get back to the line of scrimmage to set up 2nd and 15.
  13. Kinda went under the radar, but they had this coach named Lane Kiffin last year and he went to LSU.
  14. Catching up on this thread, seems like the Aggie offseason cope line is going to be "We woulda won a NATTY if it wasn't for that traitor Collin Klein sabotaging our offense in a home playoff game?" Always the victims.
  15. Sure, but Endries might get drafted and Townsend had 7 yards receiving this season. It's far from certain that he is better than Endries and to do so would require a massive jump in production.
  16. This (a) is pretty optimistic on TE and takes for granted a huge leap from Townsend and (b) assumes we do in fact address OL. I'm skeptical that we get an upgrade on DJ Campbell. Robertson seems to be the plan at center and I think he is who he is at this point. Probably true that basically anyone we take will be an improvement at LG but that's not a given with an OL coach that thought Connor Stroh was our best option in the Horseshoe. By the end of the year, Hutson was playing at a slightly below average level (an enormous improvement on early-season LG play).
  17. This doesn't make any sense to me. Can our coaching staff not reasonably approximate a guys size when watching film? Was he CGIed in Wyoming games this year?
  18. I think you're spot on that Cignetti has been the best at IDing talent, developing talent and in game coaching. So in that sense, he's probably getting something of a discount by avoiding some of the bidding wars with blue bloods and potentially some sort of QB discount given he's been so unbelievable with development at that position (although I'd expect that to be pretty marginal). To @Codaxx point, he's also not negotiating from the starting salary of five stars for retention. I'd guess guys like Ponds, the LBs and DL from 2024 were not cheap to retain. I guess my overall point is that they're signing the type of portal players you'd expect to compete for championships, so the logical conclusion is they have about as much money as anyone.
  19. I don't know why people think that Indiana is getting a discount on players. That's a massive university with a huge donor base. I'm obviously not privy to their contracts, but my assumption is they're spending about as much as anyone. Other top programs were after Mendoza and some others that they landed last cycle.
  20. RB1 at Texas should be a $1M back and also someone other than Tre Wisner. There are dozens of backs in the nation who could replicate what Tre Wisner did and many who could do it better. Not crazy for Wisner to ask for that to be RB1 and even more reasonable for Texas to say no thanks, you're not going to be RB1.
  21. Yeah great point, just make the money unlimited and get Jeremiah Smith and Cam Coleman or we’re not all in! Let’s get Sam Leavitt in to back up Arch too. In any case, if this is the all in year, we probably don’t want to rely on a 155 lb true freshman. We were missing a burner with agility and quick twitch. That’s just an archetype we don’t have outside of Bishop.
  22. Our existing WR room is adequate and I don’t think we need to go after a Cam Coleman type given we have finite resources. The problem is our best guys have overlapping skill sets. What we need is a Sategna/Craver type that will be wide the fuck open down the field if their speed isn’t respected. I’m sure those guys weren’t cheap but they also weren’t marquee players in last year’s portal.
  23. You should be compensated for having to skim six whole pages on a football message board in December and only receiving two pieces of news. Really sorry this happened to you.
  24. I remember being impressed by this guy. Seems like we'll have plenty of options at LB, which is nice.
  25. I'd take Alan Jagson over DeAndre Moore, which makes him the third best high school WR recruit of the Steve Sarkisian era.
