Penn State at Maryland, 7 PM, FS1
This is a huge game for DMV recruiting. Locksley had his chance to impress with a rare packed crowd there, but he’s fallen on his face. I think PSU is pretty good, they should go about 10-2.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2020
Interesting. I was just going off his instagram, but it's a shame he can't pull himself together.

Big 12 Power Rankings 2019
The Baylor hype seems to be growing in the media. Every talking point about them starts with, "Rhule is a program builder because of what he did at Temple". I get that, but these guys aren't actually analyzing their team. Their o line sucks, and none of their backs are good. Brewer is above average, and their receivers are good. Their defense is very average and uninspiring. I think Rhule focused way too much on Texas HS connections when building his staff, because some of their units are just putrid (o-line).

Jimbo 2020: Strangers with Candi
They'll hire an alum or someone who's either from there or has coached there before. Being a "Michigan Man" is extremely important to them, to their own detriment.

Ironic coming from a BYU fan.

UH at Tulane, 7 PM, ESPN
I think he meant WVU.

Auburn at aggy: call your shot
I think it'll be as simple as the turnover margin. I think Nix throws 2 picks and Mond throws one, so I'll go with aggy by 3.

North Carolina @ Wake Forest; ESPN, 5pm CT
I visited Wake's campus a few years ago. I didn't expect them to have so many attractive coeds there, and the campus is nice too.

Non-Texas recruiting: 2020
Fulmer wants to be like Barry Alvarez. He wants yes men coaches who will do what he wants, but Alvarez has a much better blueprint for success.

Tell Me About Texas a&m
Check the replies. Aggy fans have investigated this very serious issue and complain about teee yew getting so much undeserved attention.

My wife's SEC SEC SEC Vols down in the 3rd to GSU
It’s almost like Tennessee didn’t deserve a #15 FPI ranking just because they returned a bunch of starters. They are putrid on the line of scrimmage.

Oklahoma State @ Oregon State: 9:30CT, FS1
Hubbard's going to have a great year. I was impressed by him last year.
-
Tulsa @ Michigan St 6CT, FS1
Michigan State should easily win, but it’ll be interesting to see how their season goes. Dantonio is on a bit of a slide as of late, and I don’t think that changes since they seemingly don’t have any good running backs.

Oklahoma State @ Oregon State: 9:30CT, FS1
Weird stuff happens in Corvallis on Friday nights. I’m still unsure about oSu because of their QB situation and sieve of a defense. The one thing the Beavs are good at is running the ball, so we’ll see if they can keep it close.

Jimbo 2020: Strangers with Candi
Bobby Brown looked sluggish tonight. It's almost like all that weight he added wasn't "good weight".

Things not going well for James Franklin [FIRED]
This year is critical for Penn State's recruiting going forward (more so than each season is for every school). They've been taking a ton of backup plans for 2020, and they'll miss out on top in state recruits (and ones from NJ, MD, VA, DC) to Bama, tOSU, Clemson, etc. again in 2021 if they go 9-3 or worse. I think Franklin will be able to deflect this on the recruiting trail without much of a negative effect.

Texas Recruiting Notes 2021
Yeah his dad is Todd Rucci and his brother plays for Wisconsin. He’s another Pennsylvania stud that Penn State probably won’t land.

2019 Texas Longhorns fall practice thread
Looking at FPI, it's strange how Tennessee is 15th. Sure, they return a lot, but they are void of experience on both lines. If Aubrey Solomon isn't cleared, their d-line is going to be atrocious. They have two highly rated freshmen at the tackle spots, but that comes with growing pains. Additionally, the rest of their o-line looks like JAGs.

2019 Across the Country Prediction Thread
I think Michigan's offensive line will be one of the best in the nation, so I can see them finally fielding an elite group after bringing in Gattis. I'm actually a little bit worried about their defense though. Don Brown is a top 5 DC at least, but I don't know how good their corners and linebackers actually are. As for Ohio State, I just don't have a feel for Justin Fields. Everyone knows how highly regarded of a prospect he was, but I find it a bit strange that the Buckeye media hasn't been hyping him up as much as they did with Haskins last year. Who knows, maybe Ryan Day likes it that way.

I think he nailed both coordinator hires in Longo and Bateman. I think they can win the Coastal division as soon as next year.

2019 Across the Country Prediction Thread
Yeah I'm bullish on Michigan, but that makes me nervous because of their ineptitude against tOSU. Your Florida SEC East pick is intriguing; I'd like to hear more about it.

SEC Championship should be Georgia over Alabama.

Yeah I just forgot to change that matchup to Georgia over Bama after originally having Bama win that game and the whole thing, my bad there.
