I can guarantee a vote that you are also guaranteed to lose. Senator Thune is a hell of a negotiator. The fact that he's making any offers shows they're getting desperate though.
I'm pretty sure I remember reading a while back that it had been rescinded. I can't imagine how this group would have failed to get rid of it since it was a fair policy that helped the public.
Yeah, he was a combine warrior who showed just enough flashes in college to convince them he would be good. I have never seen a hint of that athleticism in the pros though.
They don't know how to do anything else. Mike Johnson couldn't pour water out of a boot if the instructions were written on the heel. He's not capable of righting the ship.
I think Wisner is actually slower than Emmitt Smith was. Emmitt broke fairly long runs pretty often. He might not take it all the way to the house, but he would get 20, 30 or 40 yards. Tre gets run down from behind all the time just when he is clearing in to the open field.
They love the owning the libs in theory part. That's the great sex draw. It's when he goes about trying to own the libs and causes one shitstorm after another, that reality manages to re-enter their brains.
I posted this in the Shutdown thread, but it belongs here.
Trump is the crazy ex they can't quit for a large chunk of this country. They miss him when he's not in the White House, but then he lights everything on fire and everything goes to shit and they remember why they broke up with him in the first place. As long as he's in office, he reminds people weekly of how terrible he is and they don't fondly look back on the good ole days that only exist in their head. Trump in power costs Republicans elections. It's when he's out of office that he helps them. It doesn't make any sense unless you look at it from the crazy ex angle

I have been happy with it too over the last couple years, except that it's now almost exactly twice as expensive as when I started. I'm sure that trend will stop any month now though.
