BB, search for BabaBooey! and you'll find us and send a join request. They're may be several so make sure to join the one in President. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
  2. Does this have anything to do with my Tapa not working for the last 7-10 days? If so, I'm still having issues.

A couple things. Don't use Tommy, he doesn't give the correct elevation adjustments unless you are a paying member. They are close, but not always correct. Watch Erelic or Toast of Golf Clash. They are both TeamTommy streamers, but I've seen differences in how they play and adjust vs. Tommy. They both are good and I use them for their adjustments. Since Erelic has a Golf Caddie app, you can pause the video and see what elevation he is using and min/mid/max distances which you can check if you have the app. I will type in the numbers for Toast and back into his elevation if I like his shot and want to try it. There usually aren't huge differences, but there are some, and you want to be comfortable with the shot or you'll miss Perfect more often than not. The EM 5 has enough distance, but it just makes the Par 5s and some Par 4s a little more difficult. However, if you're willing to invest a little money, get a ball pack when they offer one that has 4+P or has the forward spin boost. Those really help distance without overpowering (which is where you get into trouble quickly). Obviously don't use them for regular 1v1 but only for tournaments. They are a big help on certain holes and help to minimize mistakes made when overpowering shots. The Big Topper is great for tournaments, not everyday. I use it on hole 3 with the Ryder Cup ball on the left side and have a very good chance at a rough bump Albatross (which I would make more often if I didn't hit great right nearly every time.). But from a strategy perspective, if you don't have a GREAT shot at making an eagle (Par 4) or albatross (Par 5), just play smart and get on the green in 2 and make your putt for 3 on those. You do that and make birdies on every par 3 you are at -12. You will make every cut shooting -12 on each 9 holes and you'll finish around middle of the pack in the finial round. That's a hundred+ hundred points in rookie. No worries on the points man. It's a goal, and I'm not booting people for not reaching it. But I am going to boot some more dead weight at the bottom who only show up once a week so they don't show as being absent for 7+ days but only put up 10-20 points on the season. That is bullshit and those people need to either be in BabaTwooey or some other clan. We can fill those spots up with actual production. What is your name in the game - we've added so many people I've lost track? I see who puts up points on a regular basis and just because someone only gets 2 or 4 points a match, that's a lot of playing to get to 500 points. So don't sweat that. But that's one of the reasons I push the ring method on everyone because once you learn it you have a huge advantage up to T8 when more people start using it. So you win more, you get more coins, you play T6 or 7 or 8 getting 2-3x the points for every win. You don't have to win nearly as much to get to the minimum.

I think I admitted you back in. You didn't show up in the list, so not sure if you have to do something else on your end to finally join.

No worries man. Get better. Question. A lot of clans talk about perks points as incentive. They are not talking about the perkss of being in Masters, they are offering something, sometimes $. How does that work?
  6. HoustonHorn replied to Fudbelty's topic in Video Games
Damn Fud, that sucks. Glad to hear you are recovering.
  7. Great show. Good story with nice twists. Acting is phenomenal. Amazing over the top violence.

I also look at this season and whether they are on track for 500.

I have pretty much the same philosophy. I will recruit M1 players at VC or member of if the President if the clan is way down the list of players. They can't see the ranking, but they can see an active president and that everyone is pretty much captain. I think the minimum in the description helps. Keeps low volume players out and may attract high volume players on teams where they generate a lot of the points for the team. We'll see, the new additions show subs promise except for Arbo.

I can't remember but I remember being confused when he did it. Just going to a process of slowly rotating low performers out and keep the higher performers.

I google some of the sternisms. I guess I should try listening to him. I have in the past but not ever regularly. Nevermind, he's on Sirius. I'm not paying for that.
  12. HoustonHorn replied to Fudbelty's topic in Video Games
He had 995 points last season. He changed his name halfway through the season.

Fud, we may need some of your grinding if you have any time the next few weeks. Going to be close on making it to M2. Hopefully we can pull in some new blood that brings in some points as well but right now we're sitting one spot out. Hope all is well.

Not sure why he leo other than he went to an MII clan. If course they had less points than we did. I think they overtook us with the tournament but they might be relegated. Him and Idreno hurt.

BabaTwooey! Thanks man, between work and the tournament I haven't been able to earn that many points so we can use the help. Longhorn Lax has been kicking ass though.

No pronghorn on waiting and don't feel pressure. I buy ball packs which come with gems. Don't ever just buy gems. Terrible deal. With a ball pack you get balls, gems, and usually a good chest. I like the $100 packs that also come with Kingmakers. Yes, I spend too much on this. Checked and T9 is 1682 gems for $3M coins. It goes up for each Tour but comes with more coins.

Thanks man. We'll have your back on the main team soon!
  18. HoustonHorn replied to Fudbelty's topic in Video Games
The most important thing about gems is you don't have to wait for the chests, so I can level up a new account very quick. I got lucky to win but I had pretty good clubs EM 4, Viper5, BB6, Dart6, for less than a week of playing. And that let's you move through the tours pretty quick. I'm now than halfway through closing out T6. Helps to win most of your matches, but if you know the ring method that's pretty easy through T6.

Speed, if you are going to jump, do you mind saying in the chat that you're going to the BabaTwooey? Want people to see some people go to the new clan so isn't a big deal. Seem to have lost one person so far. Not bad. Lax already joined. Right now we're sitting 6th and can jump two levels up to Rookie2 instead of just one spot. But it's tenuous and we can use everyone we can there. Thanks man!

3x entry fee. In T10, entry was 3M per match so the buy was about 2k gems for 9M coins. T11 is 10M entry and 30M coins. T9 was 1M entry and 3M coins. I think the for T11 was about 3500 gems. But I buy ball packs that come with a lot of gems. Never buy just gems, get a ball pack that comes with gems.

HA, just shot -15 with the new account in BabaTwooey. Chance to win the first tournament ever with that account.
  22. HoustonHorn replied to Fudbelty's topic in Video Games
So let's see if I've created a shitstorm. BabaTwoeey is out there.
  23. HoustonHorn replied to Fudbelty's topic in Video Games
I need a name for my BabaTwoeey account. Thinking ICOJ. That should please some of you.

Speedtrucker, I appreciate that. I'm not going to kick anyone out but if several people voluntarily go then it may help get some others to join as well. I know my friend bearkat is going to be in that group, talked with her about it today. On the coins, that is a tip I gave to EMJ a long time ago. Each tour has its own level and I needed it to play Tour 10. I started doing it on T10 a couple times after losses and got $9M. Then I tried it out on T11 and got $30M. It costs several thousand gems, but it's easily the best deal for coins. I'm assuming that for about 4k gems you can get $90M in coins. The ratio is 3x entry fee, so just go to the highest tour you have available and play. If your win, great, bonus, but if you lose you can get the coins. I will say that this seemed to work consistently on T10 and less so on T11 recently and I just lost my money without an option to buy the $30M. That's a part of the reason I have $350M.
