You talking about someone on our team passing you? That isn't going to happen. Although Sam and Nestor have been good recent additions. Zach apparently only plays T1 or T2, so even if he played 24 hours per day for the entire season he isn't going to be able to generate what I can in a day.
I've completely dragged that team along with me to Expert II. Until last season we didn't have anyone else playing except for me and EMJ. The two guys with 0 points maybe have 100 points between them the last four or five seasons. He really should boot them.
I have gotten 8k with the main account a couple seasons ago, then 6500 then 6000 last season and I'll probably beat that this season. The second account HHII has gotten more than a thousand the last couple seasons. I actually can't play it right now because it is about to get promoted to expert and I want to keep it in Pro so I don't look like a douche playing rookie tournaments. But the clubs are weak. I just got EM 6 a couple days ago and it has a Sniper 6 so I'm still playing with a Big Dawg because I can't reach Par 5s. I built up the main account quickly because I put a fair amount of money in it. I don't spend anything (other than this week by mistake when I bought the ball pack that I meant to buy for the main account) on the second account so I can't open the chests quickly, so why play with that account?
On the plus side, when I accidentally bought the ball pack, the chest had the Apoc in it and the cards to upgrade my EM, so I decided to keep it instead of requesting a refund from PD. Oh well.
Anyways, I've been >7k for 3 or 4 seasons now between the two and greater than 8k once.
I don't know if I want to do any more than that and I don't want to be a "minimum" guy either. Unfortunately work doesn't allow for long grind sessions. I have to play a few games a few times per day when I get a chance and then I try to play for an hour or so at night. Work is getting crazier and the schedule is always different so its hard to commit to something. But keep me updated, if the timing works out I might be able to help out.
So Clashholes are in M2 right now trying to move up to C100?
How does that work as far as adding players? Seems like the people who work their ass off to get to the C100 would stick around for the reward of being in C100 and trying to stay there.
Nobody's beating Rebel Outlaws for a while though. It hasn't been close for the last several seasons. I'm guessing they have multiple people playing accounts - no way they can do that consistently. I'd much prefer to be a part of a "clean" team than pay 4 play/multiple accounts/etc. I don't care about all that stuff too much since we're such a small team, but it would annoy me if I was on a team doing it right and saw other teams doing that stuff.
I don't even know how all the teams are intertwined. 19th Family is pretty easy to figure out, same with WPFL. And I know other teams have "joined" together, but I don't run in those circles.
We're currently in 3rd in Expert II. Fud has been a huge help with over 1k so far. We won't catch 2nd, but we can hopefully hang on to 3rd. Will have to add people and/or poach some active players from other teams to go too much further I'm afraid. We have 5-6 pretty active players (I'm 2 of them with my main account being the primary reason we've made it as far as we have.) I'd like to make a push to Master I, but don't think we have enough to go further than that.
Trying out Expert in the 9-hole tournament. Tried a couple times before and never made the weekend, but I'm in T10 now so I know the Oasis course really well. 9 is really the only hole that might keep me from shooting -12 or better. That hole is easier now that I can use a Guardian (as opposed to Tour play where I need to have a Sniper for the shootouts). But that drive is still a challenge and I am still underpowered with an Apoc 4.
Not many good chances at extra drops, so if I can get one or two in each round I have a chance to make the weekend and have a chance for a pretty decent finish. Need to play ok in the Opening Round though. I'm guessing a -12 will get through in the Opening and that's what I shot in the qualifier, finished 5th. A -13 Opening Round, -14 Weekend over the next two rounds would be ideal and really the best I could hope for without spending more time trying to dial in a few of the shots.
It's kind of amazing the difference in mindset between 1v1 and tournaments. I like both for different reasons.
Definitely an addictive game though.
Also PL3X on facebook is a good resource. To watch some crazy good golfers check out Fenzl. He and DMac are just awesome. Graham is also fantastic but may be an acquired taste for some. He's opinionated, to say the least. Note: All the references are to YouTube videos.
Not sure you mean by the setup. The video is 4 months old so there could be some minor changes to how it looks from the latest version. What clan are you in? I'm in Bababooey!! Fud is currently with us for a temporary break from grinding. We're currently Expert II. Looks like we're in good position to move up. Always looking for players if your every want to make a switch. If you play tournaments I'd suggest watching some streamers to see how they dial in shots. For rookie Toast of Golf Clash is one of the best. He puts his guides out on facebook too for free. Also Erelic has some good tutorials on wind adjustments and the ring method. Get Golf clash notebook app. Very very helpful with the wind guide. They also have a very good website that has a lot of useful information. Good luck. I have a lower level account, HHII, so maybe I'll run across you. Currently playing T5 and 6 mostly.
My dog has never done it, but he would absolutely do this. It's like he's fascinated by fireworks. I fucking love the chaos this causes though. Good thing it was just a fountain and not an M-80.
Balcones (both courses is they still exist - I think they closed Spicewood? which was the better of the two) suck compared to Great Hills. We were members at both a long time ago and it wasn't even close. I didn't play much at Balcones but once we switched I played every day. You and your kid will want to play where it's enjoyable and Balcones is flat and boring. Great Hills has a really nice course with a lot of interesting holes and variations in elevation.
Feel free to be a mercenary for our team while you find your way. [emoji16] Is not bothering me that much. Visually it's a little difficult to get used to which I think will get better over time. I didn't think they changed anything about the actual hitting area for perfect so it's just a mind thing. I will say it doesn't seem very smooth and consistent on Android, but I think that will always be a problem due to the nature of Android vs IOS. thinking about getting an iPad to play on though. As far as the changes to the spin meter I think it actually makes more sense, but the problem is you don't need Spin 4 and Spin 5 balls. Not at the expense of power or wind resistance. That's just a money grab. Don't care about the people who have shoes dialed in, should be an easy conversion to adjust. Can't wait to see what they do with the tournaments and see how the top players /streamers respond. Still having to select a ball despite getting rid of packs is a fireable offense. It's literally a waste of time and happens even after you go in and select a new ball in your bag before starting a round. wtf. Overall I think it's a step in the right direction overall but PD can't help but step on their own dick in the process. 8 do like the new course and how several more are released this year.
Very nice looking watch. I'm on a hiatus until the end of the year. My wife got me an Oris Great Barrier Reef fire my birthday. I wish I hadn't seen the new Oris Cary fort that just came out - I might like that even more, but this GBR is gorgeous.
Mings are extremely popular and I love the dial on the one you posted. Unfortunately, the size is just too small for me. If you like the Copper/Salmon Dual, check out the Baltic X Worn and Wound. They aren't in the same league as the Mings, but still a nice looking watch. Similar size. Not sure they have them available anymore but watch recon is your friend. Resale prices got a little crazy for a microbrand, but maybe they've come back down by now.
I'll sign on to this. Last time I went to Salt Lick it was basically inedible. Just terrible. But everyone I was with, just raved about how great it was - but they haven't taken the time to go to some of the Austin greats. Same at my office - we have had bbq brought in from many different places and its pretty much mediocre unless I'm the one ordering it. Regardless, they love it even if it isn't great.
I used to think BBQ was ok, but nothing great. I felt the same about steaks. Then I had good bbq and I learned that it can be incredible when done right. Then I moved to Houston and learned steaks need to be eaten medium rare (not well done which is all my mom will eat and all I had growing up - no wonder I didn't like it and doused it in A1). And now I love steaks.
Its ignorance really, but you can't really blame them unless they've had really good bbq and just choose mediocre. That said, even mediocre bbq is still pretty good, which is why alot of people don't care that much to put in the extra time to get the good stuff. I drive by Goode Co. (about 5 minutes from my house) to go another 15-20 minutes to Pinkerton's on a regular basis. But I'm willing to make the effort. I don't think most people are.
Got my first ever Top 3 banner this weekend. A silver in rookie with my 2nd account. 15th in pro on my main amount. A birdie on the 15th hole (par 5) cost me a top 10. Still my best finish with that account.
Went ahead and added another 200k at 0.0006.
RC - when does this news come out tomorrow and what is the exit strategy? Thinking about staging my sells at various price points. 100k at .004 which will cover the total buy-in then 100k at 0.008 and 200k at 0.01. Sitting on 100k and see if I can ride it any higher.
Is FRSX a buy at $1.12 right now? You indicate good news in the pipeline, but would prefer to get in below $1 if possible but don't want to miss a big jump if the news is going to be released soon.
