We've got a Bad Boy with a 60 inch deck and a Kubota with a 54 inch deck both are good mowers. I'd buy something with a Kawasaki engine for your 1 acre. Hard to beat Ferris, Gravely, Hustler or Bad Boy. Scag and Kubota will cost $$$ but they will outlast you with basic maintenance.
Also if you want a Deere then go to your nearest tractor dealership.
16 gauge. Those gates are built by a guy in Kaufman. Cant beat the price for the quality. way better than preifert or tarter gates at Tractor Supply and the same price.

I offer some real business experience in the retail/restaurant side. Probably just a pipe dream but I know there are some really smart and capable people here who have the idea.
So...VC is obviously the right terminology for our endeavors. I can get behind RV park or storage units. How would we structure the capital strategy and leadership?
I know there has been members invest in certain BBQ places and failed but are there other opportunities as a collective that there could be opportunity? I know there are a lot of smart people on this board and maybe they're just lacking capital.
I'm willing to be part of the resurrection. I have my ideas of a successful enterprise. If champ is wanting to give this another try and we truly have some Surly backers other than me let's do it.
