this thread doesn’t trigger me, people talking unwarranted, unprovoked, and pointedly personal shit towards me triggers me. do i ever post insults towards anyone here? do i call anyone stupid for their opinion? do i take pot shots at posters with serious, lifelong, incurable mental illness? do i only show up once in a blue moon to talk personal shit to that specific poster? or do i come here every single day and contribute more to this forum than basically anyone else? earnestly, and passionately. you tell me. i don’t think it’s fair to tell me to stay away from this thread just because i don’t like it when assholes make shit personal and take low blow cheap shots at me. tell those people to post their opinions without being combative assholes, please and thank you.
i never budged on shaka or RT, largely because of one reason: accountability, specifically the complete lack of it. it’s the same thing that had me enamored with beard and barnes, and i’ve said this before: i’ve never been around a championship team that didn’t stress accountability. less than one season in and it’s clear where miller stands in this regard. things were never ever ever going to change under coaches who don’t believe in accountability. never. meanwhile we are already seeing change and growth and development of our players and team under sean miller. it’s the no.1 thing i ask for. you cannot win without it. i’m becoming a bigger and bigger fan with not only each game, but with each public demand for accountability. great stuff.

also that’s not his bicep.
never forget that 2011 VCU is the most fraudulent team ever let into the tourney. •finished the regular season 3-5 •lost to drexel, james madison, and northeastern during that stretch •finished 4th in the CAA •did not win their conference tourney •ranked EIGHTY FOURTH in kenpom on selection sunday when they got an at-large bid •first year of 68 team tourney honestly, no hyperbole: who owes more to one entity (in this case the 2011 selection committee) than shaka smart? if his team- which should have been a million miles away from being let into tourney- had simply not been let in? what becomes of shaka smart if that season ends in failure as it should have? that guy is selling used cars in roanoke and hawking herbalife on the side right now if the tourney committee does its job and leaves 2011 VCU out of the tournament. surreal. i’m not playing- this fool might have sold his soul to the devil. i can’t name another figure in all of sports who’s benefitted more from such blind luck and blatant incompetence, and in one fell swoop. one decision that changed the course of this idiot’s life in ways that defy logic. just wild to think of how different everything could be if the 2011 committee had just done [punches white board] their job!!
