Did they send you samples or did you come up to Newport? I did a barrel pick there and it was amazing, rolled out the red carpet. This was pre covid though.
Just old forester actually, makers 101 was at a store in Louisville and the Michters was at the Costco near my hood when I was getting gas to end the day haha.
Question for the pros of the thread, is it smart to refinance after only a year in to a 30 year loan with current rates the way they are? I'm in at 3.625 from when we closed on our house Aug 2019. Obviously don't have much equity into the house yet though.
Today actually and done online, people are pissed about the site crashing but I got one so fuck it. I pick it up at the distillery next week. They are out being flipped in force in Kentucky from retail sales already though.
Great summary, but this is also how bottle secondary values are all jacked up. It starts out at Blantons for 10 a spot because the value is 100, but soon goes to 11, 12, 13 a spot because "its only 3 dollars more" and when they fill the value of Blantons becomes 130 because "fireballs fill at 13." Rinse and repeat over time until we get to the jacked up secondary pricing where Rock Hill Farms sold for 275 a bottle the other day. The gambling aspect setting pricing is a little ridiculous.
