  1. The weather at 3M was great. And the new course was not as hard as I expected (Red River). Ended about running 1:20, which was 1-2 mts faster than I expected (thought 1:22)
  2. Hopefully the wind dies down, because otherwise looks to be great weather for Houston! I'm running 3M and definitely not in peak shape. Shooting for 1:22 or so.
  3. Last year sucked. I was consistent, but got no real results. Hoping to be better this year! I'm signed up for the Squamish 50 mile race in August. We'll see how that goes!

Anyone listen to these guys? They're growing on me big time. I think some of the guys liven in Austin and the band was "founded" in Dripping Springs. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midland_(band)

  9. https://www.statesman.com/news/local/publisher-editor-announce-departures-from-statesman/oRbz0gEXIISQsDVLb1gInL/ Publisher Susie Biehle and Editor Debbie Hiott announced Monday that they are leaving the American-Statesman. Biehle has been the newspaper’s publisher since November 2012, and Hiott has been editor since November 2011. The announcement of their departures comes five months after GateHouse Media finalized its purchase of the Statesman from Cox Enterprises, which had owned the paper for 41 years.

  12. Nice job! One of the easiest ways to blow your race is to do what that guy did. Going out too fast and expending too much energy weaving in and out of traffic.
  13. Because each family member can "own" 5 stores or something like that. They're definitely exploiting a loophole so they have no room to complain at this.
  14. $25 Expires Jan 2019.
  15. New forum, new thread.
