Nate has coached Trae out of thinking he's equal to Curry and it has improved his game tremendously. He's even trying more on the defensive end. But I'll take Ja. Think his upside is higher than Trae.
Since Tuesday, the NBA has provided some really entertaining games. The Saturday games were especially fun.
I don't have a rooting interest in one team so i just want some close, exciting games. Looking forward to the Knicks-Hawks (crowd in MSG will be rocking) and Lakers-Suns games on Sunday.
My first thought was- "when did they change the rule on coaches making public comments on unsigned prospects". But that's not what happened here, right? Jackson created this graphic and included what Beard said to him.
I think some people were so caught up in another Shaka special that they don't realize that Greg returned to the bench and can be seen cheering for his teammates late in the 2nd half of that game. Also for the rest of the season, when his playing time was sporadic, you can see him on the sidelines clearly cheering for the team. Including late in the ACU game where he only played 6 mins.
Immature, needs to be more focused- sure. I just don't see headcase based on his behavior. I hope a solid franchise (spurs, heat, raptors) drafts him because I think he can have a productive NBA career if he starts in a positive environment.
I think you'll be surprised when you watch Gonzaga play. While not at Baylor's level, they are a really good defensive team when they feel challenged. Suggs and Ayayi are very good on the perimeter. Their bigs are good situational defenders. Would be a great matchup with Baylor.
Really enjoyed the first episode of "The Inside Story". It was great seeing footage from the early days with all the different host. Hearing the stories from the behind the scenes people. Great job from the TNT crew.
Greg has been an elite prospect since he was 9-10 yrs old. And training as one. Kai just started playing the game seriously at 15. I think that makes a difference in the players we see right now.
Most draft boards don't have Kai high on their boards because they are just noticing him. He looked so raw as a freshman. The improvement he has shown in one year is impressive. He is showing improved range, better ability to put the ball on the floor and get a basket. The NBA is famous for drafting on potential. If he continues to develop his game he will move up those draft boards as he has since this season started.
