  1. Don’t know why NBC did an hour of diving on prime time when there was so much more for the US today.
  2. For him to win a bronze with it is unbelievably impressive
  3. See the subsequent post where I said I hoped he would win. Good on him for backing it up.
  4. Agreed. I really want him to win, but also somewhat annoyed by his comments. thankfully, he should nail the 200 irregardless of what happens in the 100.
  5. If you are going to talk shit like Lyles, you have to back it up. He’s two for two on being second.
  6. Kind of nice to see an all star game with some defense.
  7. GabrielsHorn replied to Captain Ron's topic in Futbol
Jude versus Vini is going to be a crazy balón d’or race if they make runs in the cups.
  8. Still voting Biden, but Jesus Christ, we really needed new blood this election.
  9. Avs fans talked so much shit before this series, so to best them 5-2 and every time in Colorado is just *chefs kiss*. Let’s hope the Oilers force a game 7 to give a bit more rest.
  10. Already took off July 19th so they UTEP finally wins a NC in football. The details truly look incredible. A huge leap from 2014!
  11. looks incredible
  12. Also, you want to melt permafrost because making it a mess somehow makes it easier to drill! Fun Fact: It doesn’t and makes it significantly harder. Plus, ice is easy to drill through compared to rock which is what a company so in line with miners would actually know. Also, your groundwater plume to have a zone of influence that large to reach the remote station, that has to have truck load deliveries weekly, is larger than every single mine in the world.
  13. Normally, I agree with Sepinwall, but after this, I really want to know what the fuck the critics were thinking. This was a shitty Netflix show level of quality.
  14. I’ve worked on multiple mines in Alaska and have never once seen a company dumb enough to put their corporate headquarters in a remote mine site, have a mill available that close to the public, or have a room look like a fucking spaceship. Also, in the artic, any mine would have to be a corporate partnership between an indigenous community/corporation like NANA and a company. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: no one writing this show has set foot in northern Alaska, and the show very much suffers for it.
  15. As someone who has done quite a bit of work in Alaska, I really wonder if the creator has ever spent time in Alaska at all. Everything from the layout of the city (this is trying to replicate Nome or Utqiagvik but it is way too big) to the vibes of the stores is just so off.
  16. Cowboys are going to continue to be a joke until Jerry is dead.
  17. It would be this shitty Big 12 crew that calls that phantom flag.
