Texas at Arkansas- Wednesday, 8pm on ESPN2
I agree at this point all the guys know there is no offense. Just get in and help. Tre has to keep his stock up for the NBA. These wins and losses probably don't mean anything to him because he’s going to the NBA regardless.

How does Mark go from the top scorer in the SEC last year and come to Texas and have a drastic drop🤔

Texas vs Kentucky - Saturday, 7pm on ESPN
We could go down the line of each player and all would need improvement on something (offense/defense), but they are not perfect. I don't have to talk about the offense because we already know. Curious of why Mitchell left Texas.🤔 Just like everyone else I looked Kent up. Believe it or not he thrived in his previous coach offense. They actually had an offense and didn't play iso ball. We get frustrated with him but I'm pretty sure he’s frustrated too especially coming to this type of offense. At this point, hope they all can pull together and win these games, so they can try to make the tourney.🤘🏻

I will be “excited” to see Weaver come back. Please give him grace if he returns because I’ve seen negative comments when he was playing. Larry is not a big threat on offense and I don’t think they recruited him for that. He can play defense, get them in the offense and do other things. We don’t need everyone on the team doing the same thing. Having athleticism will not just win ball games. We have Tre, Pope, Mark, Arthur our main scorers who lack things as well. None of the players will have a perfect game each night. I will not bash any of the guys because I still know, as we all know, what the big issue is. Right now, I am hoping they stay positive and win out to make the tournament. These are the guys we have and need all of them to achieve this.🤘🏻

It was assembled with offense in mind which we need guys to put the ball in the basket. Geesh, I did hear Texas is 13th nationally in “ISO” possession. We do not run set plays so this is when the guys start playing iso ball which we’ve seen that often. I cannot blame the guys, that’s on coach. Sadly some of the players are not use to playing iso ball, they are use to playing team ball. When you play an iso offense, assist opportunities are harder for the PG. Also, pure “ATHLETICISM” alone will not win ball games.

Good question. The question that caught my attention was: Does TX offense look any different this year from last year when you were at BYU having Tre Johnson on the team? One of the responses: “Some of the DNA is still there.” What do you think that means?😳

I totally 1000% agree with you. All the games we have watched, its acceptable by the coach(s). When a HC actually holds his shooters/team accountable they will be on the bench. Also, should be the same for defense. Seems most were recruited for offense and they maybe saying I didn't come to play defense, I came to shoot the ball.🤷♂️ Only my opinion.

Pope is not the only one. This has been happening all year and I don’t see it changing any time soon.
