Saw rumors this morning linking us with Courtois. He's a great keeper but I've never been impressed with his distribution. I think we want a more all around keeper than that.
The word I've heard is we'll likely need 3 keepers. Migs is gone. Like you said, relegating Karius to the bench is probably worse than letting him start the season, and Ward is going to want first team football somewhere.
They have a lot of work to do this summer on the keeper front. I saw the Barca backup was mentioned on Twitter this morning.
The fuck are you on about? Real Madrid finished with 17 fewer points than the season before and finished with more losses in their league than LFC did.
By just one point. We scored 6 more goals and allowed 4 fewer. We had to change the team several times in those late season PL games because of the CL quarters and semis.
Congrats, Madrid. You were the better team on the day.
Ramos isn’t a prick for just the Salah takedown. It’s all the other stuff too. The elbow to Karius’s head. The dive on Mané’s clean tackle, etc. I could go on. That’s your club’s captain.
You're right. He should've said how much better Barcelona is as a team and a city. He should've said, "why would anyone want to play in Liverpool? I barely like coming here for matches."
You're as dumb as you are stupid.
Christ, man. Change the record.
England can play a 4-2-3-1 with Kane up top, Sterling and Lingard on the wings and Alli tucked in behind Kane. Dier and Hendo in the 2. Sterling, Lingard and Alli make it a very fluid 3 too.
I wouldn't sleep on Loftus-Cheek either. He can provide a lot of attacking creativity too. I like England's attacking options. Southgate needs to unshackle them though, and let them create.
It's actually a compliment. Some guys are better at it than others. Paul Scholes was great at it. Gerrard wasn't. I don't think Henderson is particularly good at it because he yells instead of talking the ref into a call.
One of Kane's best attributes is his constant whining to the refs. A captain needs that quality. I have no idea if the refs actually understand him, but he's always in their ear.
I'm watching at The Gorgeous Gael in Houston. Doors open at 9 AM. They're covering the patio with a tent and expecting over 300 people.
Gonna have to find a way to pace myself that day.
ETA: Just found out they changed it to 10 AM.
Also, the Houston LFC group is doing a mixer with the Houston Real Madrid supporters tonight at Cantina La Calle on Franklin St.
In the replies to that tweet, they discuss what the Championship sides earn.
Every other club in the championship only earned £4.5m. Makes what Brighton and Huddersfield were able to do pretty amazing.
