  1. Get used to it - the top 10 players in Texas for 2028 include Joseph Addai's kid and Chris Whaley's kid. Jaylen Addai, Shadow Creek, Wide Receiver CJ Whaley, Atlanta, Athlete
  2. What do you mean by pushing? Yes there are NBA games on Sunday, just like always. But I don't think that the nationally televised Sunday games start until after the NFL season.
  3. No thanks. I'll go out on a limb that these segments will be one ego stroke after another just like The Last Dance.
  4. Episode 2 was a snoozefest but thought Episode 3 was pretty good - pretty intriguing (in a sick kind of way) to bear witness to how false confessions are developed, start to finish, via the police interrigation footage. "We all know you were there - we just need you to remember the details" And wtf is up with that one witness for the prosecution - supposedly Michael Scott says "I did it" in your living room in 1991 and you don't come forward then (assuming you thought he was referring to the murders), in the police videos you admit "it's all so vague," but then you are articulate and detailed on the witness stand about that whole "I did it" thing from 8 years prior? Nothing suspicious about that at all. "We found our own fire expert that can fit our narrative to the evidence" gtfo
  5. Interesting set up for NBC/Peacock and at first blush I fucking hate it.
  6. Sounds like your experience was polar opposite from mine. Ate there for lunch last week and that was a mistake. Sides were pretty good but sausage was really greasy and the brisket had no flavor - none. Way overpriced. I should have known better as it's located in a fairly nice (for a BBQ place) updated, 2-story building - those facades are usually (not always) done to cover up for mediocrity. They also offer "free" desserts from an ice cream machine and banana pudding...another red flag.
  7. Agreed - I think it was 8 or 9 commercial breaks per episode - all for Disney/Hulu/FX shows (including Alien: Earth). Was really off-putting and detracted from my enjoyment.
  8. Episodes 1 & 2 tonight. Most reviews have been very positive - 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/alien_earth/s01
  9. Dude money probably speaks more loudly and with more authority than anybody or anything
