Who is playing Clear Springs this weekend?

I'm going on 8 plus years since being diagnosed with a stage 3 colorectal adenocarcinoma and just got a clean results from a colonoscopy and biopsy. MDAnderson doesn't need to see me for another five years. I remember those days of being wiped out from chemo and having chemo delayed due to low WBC. You all in treatment keep fighting and always ask for ativan in your infusion if available.
  3. It also struck me as odd that they used a tub of goo as their hand model.

I had mine yesterday and it looked clear. I woke up from my first one in 2016 to a worried-looking young doctor telling me I needed to go directly to imaging. Been cancer-free for eight years now. There's a biopsy of the surgical site pending but if that comes back clean I'm on the five year plan.

I went into resection with the doc telling my I was 50/50 on getting a temp. I interpreted that as I wasn’t getting one and I was wrong. Nobody likes ileos but some people hate them worse than others. I hated it. Only had it two months but worrying about and dealing with that thing day-to-day fucking sucked. Hated it.

He is. They won the silver bracket. He was the one who looked like he could be the son of Adonis.
  7. I still don't know is this Graham fellow is genuinely a shitty writer or a clever bit. I don't want to know the answer at this point.

Nurse asked me if I waned Ativan added to my drip. I didn't really know what that was but it turns out I really like it. The naps during infusion felt warm.

Well that's great news. I remember liver scans causing me a decent amount of consternation. The docs were surprisingly not always in line about identifying a hemangioma. Remind me what kind of shit-ass cancer you were blessed with?

I'm no doctor but I'd probably try an antifungal over an antibiotic.
  11. What the fuck is not to like?

Whooooo got that scanxiety? It's the fucking worst. And you can't do anything about it (other than drugs) except get through the scan. Good luck. Sorry your wife gave you blue balls on top of cancer.
  13. You think that’s more impressive than sending invisible bombers over a country with severely degraded air defenses?
  14. I crashed for the second time in a year. Luckily, my bike and I came out of it in relatively good shape. I was carrying some momentum coming off a hill, probably going 20-22 mph in Terry Hershey, and a fat ass rabbit ran right out in front of me. I didn’t even have time to hit the brakes before I was de-biked. My helmet is trash and I got some road rash but all else is fine. Addendum: We all know this but you really have to wear a helmet. My head hit the ground pretty hard and I would not be in good shape if the dents in my helmet were instead in my head.
  15. Uhhhh, they're just going to keep refueling one another. Don't need to land.
  16. Bobby the Pilot, how hard is it to enter a takeoff roll with flaps retracted on a modern passenger jet? I would think they'd engineer that to be really hard to do. Same question when retracting flaps immediately after takeoff. Isn't there a "yeah, might want to think twice" warning if you order flap retraction at a speed, altitude and configuration that would likely result in a stall?
  17. I think this one is in hand. The karma gods can lick my chode.
  18. Congrats girls! Awesome job!
  19. That’s not how the play was originally drawn up.
  20. Sooners starting to feel salty. Almost tied the game.
  21. That’s kind of nuts.
